„We had a room to the courtyard, so it was very quiet at night. We really liked having a garage for our rental car, so it stood there save and we used public transportation’s to explore the city. The staff was really nice, helpful and extremly accommodating. Sadly there was a problem with the toilet flush in our room, but when we told the receptionist, he immediately made a new room available to us, which was even better than the first one. „For the category and price range, that the Travellodge is in, everything was a good fit: location is a great starting point for exploring San Francisco, parking is a plus, rooms were clean and reasonable, decent continental breakfast (breakfast room is very small, but we always managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes) - plastic silverware to throw-away is unfortunately common practice. Staff and service were always very friendly and helpful.“

„Natürlich ist das Hotel zu dem Preis kein „WOW“ Hotel, aber die Lage ist super, die Einrichtung der Zimmer fast schon nostalgisch anmutend und somit wieder etwas besonderes. Der Verkehr hat uns nicht gestört und mit den Obdachlosen muß man in der Stadt eben leben. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich. “

„unser Fenster war zum Flur hinaus, aber das war uns bewusst und auch kein Problem, Rollo runter, Sache erledigt. Das Zimmer war für 3 Personen mit allen Koffern etwas klein aber wir haben uns zurechtgefunden und es war sauber, was uns am wichtigsten war. Das Personal ist super freundlich und auch hilfsbereit. Zu Fuß brauchten wir ca. 30 min zur Lombard Street und 40 zum Fishermans Wharf. “

„Sehr schöne Lage. Alles schnell erreichbar mit Auto oder E-Bikes. Wunderbare Idee die E-Bikes direkt im Hotel mieten zu können. Ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt. “

„Our room was spotless and well appointed with a super fancy claw foot tub, staff was unfailingly pleasant and helpful, the bar was relaxing and fun with very nicely prepared cocktails and a very welcoming bartender, breakfast was satisfying and convenient, and the hotel overall is just a magical glimpse into the San Francisco of yore. We loved our sunset view. We will absolutely return in the future!“
