„The Stein Eriksen is the gold standard for ski hotels imho. Every single detail is thoughtful and elegant. We come for an annual family trip and will never stay anywhere else. This year, we had an issue upon checkin. The manager, Josh, resolved it for us quickly and with no stress. He was so kind and gave us a quick walk around the property that turned our day around instantly. He’s amazing and SEL is the best. “

„Very, Very nice facility even as they are in the middle of construction. We loved the room, the kitchenette and the beds. The bathroom was just designed poorly. There is a “window” from the shower to the other part of the room that lets light shine directly into the faces of those still sleeping. My wife was forced to shower and get ready in the dark as others were trying to sleep. The plugs were right behind the sink so cords kept falling in the sink which isn’t safe. „We visited at the end of December, which is off season. We were the only guests. The staff took us on hikes and made dinner, lunch, and breakfast just for us. They were fully staffed as it is a working ranch. Rooms were excellent directly facing the river. The setting is magnificent with huge mountains and mesas surrounding the property. We loved it and the team there. “

„We had an enjoyable stay and found the accommodations comfortable. The owner responded to a request for a couple of things that were missing (rubber mat for shower and extra bedding) which we appreciated. The building itself, seemed a bit old and dim. The sauna was broken the entire we were there and the elevators were out except for the last day, The location was pretty good but a good hike up to the lifts if you were carrying anything. „We were in Moab during Jeep week, but our unit was extremely quiet, I don’t think there was anyone on either side if us.The outdoor balcony had a view of the RV park next door. At first I was disappointed we didn’t have a mountain or river view, but after awhile the RV park started to grow on me - lots of interesting activity, but not too much noise.It would be nice if there were a few more pyrex pans in the kitchen to facilitate large meals.“
