The Space:

Ixum is designed for those who appreciate beauty in details. From palm-thatched roofs that evoke local architecture to rooms adorned with Oaxacan art and Guatemalan textiles, every corner tells a story. Each room has a unique identity: Alma, Ome, Maíz, and Alux—four symbols that represent the essence of the project. This cozy Suite has a bedroom for two people, a private bathroom and a pleasant TV room with two single sofa beds. Common areas include a pool surrounded by private gardens, hammocks, and lounge chairs for relaxation. The leisure terrace is the heart of the hotel: by day, a space for coffee and conversation; by night, a venue for gatherings and live performances. The hotel shop showcases artisan pieces, fostering cultural exchange and appreciation.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to all common areas, including the pool, leisure terrace, and restaurant. Ixum is designed to cater to diverse travelers, whether they are in transit, passionate about fine dining, or looking for a cultural experience. Additionally, one crib is available upon request for those traveling with family.

Just a short drive away, guests can reach the Caribbean beaches, the ferry terminal to Isla Mujeres, and the exclusive Puerto Cancún. Getting Around:

Ixum's privileged location allows guests to move around easily. It is recommended to explore the area on foot or by bicycle to enjoy its urban charm. For longer distances, options such as Uber, cab and public transportation are available. The beach is only a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk away, and the ferry terminal for visiting Isla Mujeres is within walking distance.
