Great establishment, food was decent and the service was top. Inch. We stayed in the villas and loved it- just a heads up this is not an adult only place as advertised. There were kids but they do have an adult only pool. If you are looking for an adult only place this is not it. Sarah our butler was probably the best part of our stay. She is fantastic!

This was the best vacation we have had. So relaxing and the view was amazing. Our butler Sarah was AMAZING! She was attentive, caring, and on top of her job! She set up reservations, told us about events, walked us to dinners etc. She also set up a private dunner in the beach for out Anniversary and put ballons and flower petals on our bed! You could tell she cared about her job. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and friendly. I loved every second here. The food was great as well. Some if the drinks tasted different depending on who makes them but for the most past were good. I would love to come back.

I loved everything about the resort nothing to complain even my butler Alex was AMAZING! I recommend everyone to go to Alex and ask for recommendations because it’s honestly the best experience you could have!

We recently stayed at this property during our first visit to Cancún and had a great overall experience. We booked a villa, which was spacious and comfortable—I would definitely recommend it to others. The food at the buffet was decent, while the à la carte restaurants were excellent. However, service varied throughout the resort. While many staff were friendly and accommodating, a few servers were less courteous. That said, our butler, Sarah, was exceptional—attentive, kind, and truly enhanced our stay. One drawback was the presence of aggressive sales staff within the hotel, likely promoting timeshares or similar programs. While I understand the business reasoning behind this, the approach could be more respectful, as they didn’t handle a simple “no” very well. Additionally, we had a confusing experience at the Japanese restaurant, where a server offered a bottle of sake for “a dollar.” We double-checked the price and were assured it was correct. However, at checkout, we were charged $20 USD. While the amount isn’t unreasonable, transparency would have been appreciated. Despite a few hiccups, we had a positive stay and would consider returning. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and there’s a lot to enjoy.

We had a great time - our butler, Yajahira AKA the best, numero uno - made our stay amazing. She was so friendly, funny and helpful we felt like we had known her for years. Yajahira is the reason we will return. Everyone here was friendly but she was tops! For an all inclusive this place is head and shoulders above others I've tried. Great vacay, glad I found the place.

AMAZING!! We stayed in one of the villas and had one of the nicest vacations we have ever had. Shout out to Alejandro our butler for being so accommodating without being overbearing. Diana at breakfast always greeted us with the best smile. Julio at the buffet was next level - my hubby asked if there was any bacon one day and he brought a special plate for him. The bartenders and entire resort staff were so incredible. We’ve stayed in nice places before but the service sets Park Royal head and shoulders above. Thank you & we will be back.

Great Stay with Minor Issues I had a great experience at the Grand Park Royal Cancun. The rooms were spacious, clean, and featured a relaxing jacuzzi in the bathroom. We also had an incredible beach view from our room. The food was a standout. The Italian restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and tasty dishes, with polite and attentive staff. The hibachi-style restaurant and seafood restaurant were also very good. The steakhouse served excellent food, though it’s à la carte and not part of the all-inclusive package. While I booked what was advertised as an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, only the building I stayed in was adults-only—there were kids throughout the rest of the property, which was misleading. I also tried to plan a surprise romantic dinner on the beach through our VIP butler (via WhatsApp). Unfortunately, the concierge called the room for payment confirmation, and my partner answered—nearly ruining the surprise. Only a slight language barrier helped save it. Despite those hiccups, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. Much better experience than the RIU property down the street

Drink service to cabanas slow and infrequent once an hour. Ac issues in room Bathroom smells Tv stuck on Spanish can’t adjust remote doesn’t work. WiFi disconnects and doesn’t always work. Beds slide around can’t sit up against headboard Ants all over room including bed Refilling drink fridge infrequent. Biggest issue is the portions and food quality the food is always cold when it’s room service and the food is just small portions are small. So much so that we had to order food in just to get a decent meal. Would never recommend anyone where get an all inclusive pass because the food is the worst out of the 170 hotels Iv stayed at in my life. Amenities 3 out of 5 stars Price 3 out of 5 stars Services 3 out of 5 stars Staff 5 out of 5 stars (they were all friendly) Location 5 out of 5 stars Views 5 out of 5 stars. Right on the ocean. Food 1 out of 5 stars. The worst ever Bar drinks 2 out of 5 stars drinks are fine when you can get them Cellular service and WiFi 3 stars cellular is slow inside hotel but works same with calls Much better outside and almost normal to your local country off property. WiFi is weak at best. Can do the basic streaming videos or downloads will be hit or miss. Overall stay 3 out of 5. Great trip overall, staff was great views great but food and overall subpar everything else pulled the hotel stay down. Will definitely return to Cancun but will definitely never stay here again sadly

La habitación fué todo lo que esperaba y más! Las instalaciones del hotel son bonitas, es un lugar super tranquilo, solo desearia que hubiera un bar en la zona de la playa la unica opcion de bebidas quedaba un tanto retirado de la zona del camastro asignado, aunque la chica encargada de atendernos siempre en la mejor disposicion y haciendo su mejor esfuerzo por llevarnos las bebidas lo mas pronto posible! The villa was lovely quiet comfortable and had a relaxing courtyard and plunge pool just steps from the beautiful beach Service personnel were top notch in all areas Our butler Alejandro was perfect always available and helpful with everything Dinner reservations beach accommodations room help you name it. Thank you The food was not great unfortunately. Italian restaurant food was not appetizing at all maybe it was what we ordered but inedible Buffet was fine for breakfast not so much for lunch or dinner Asian was ok but not great Seafood lunch was good again not great Hamburgers and hot dogs were decent for lunch pizza was inedible The coffee shop was very good The steak restaurant was very good unfortunately you had to pay extra to eat there for dinner which is annoying since it was really the only dinner we enjoyed We would go back loved the hotel beach and service but the food definitely needs to improve

We had an incredible stay at the Select Royal Grand Park Royal with VIP access and couldn’t recommend it more! We booked a beachfront villa with a private plunge pool, and it exceeded all expectations—waking up to the sound of the ocean and having direct beach access felt like a dream. The property is absolutely stunning, and the Select villas offer a perfect balance of privacy and luxury. Every a la carte restaurant we tried was excellent, but the standout experience was having access to the Prime Restaurant. The ocean views during breakfast and lunch were breathtaking, and the service was top-tier. A special shoutout to our butler, Alejandro, who made our stay seamless and stress-free. He took care of all our dinner reservations and secured Bali beds for us at both the beach and adult pool. His attention to detail and kindness truly elevated our experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-end vacation with personalized service and beautiful surroundings, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Jessica our butler was fantastic. She took care of all of our needs. There were multiple people who worked there who went out of their way to always be smiling and polite. Our room was awesome, the restaurants were all great, except the italian one. That was sub par. The drinks from the bar were all watered down pretty heavily. Even if I asked for a double I never tasted it. I guess thats how they keep puke out of the pool. The other butler with the beard started removing my wife and I's belongings from the cabana poolside and said "its $200." So we politely gathered our things and moved. I then asked our butler Jessica and she got us another one the next day. SO, idk if the guy didn't think a black chick could afford a cabana or what, but I didn't appreciate him moving our stuff when we clearly had the vip wristbands on. That was really my only problem with this hotel. It was quiet on the adults only side. There were tons of huge family parties, tho I'm not sure why. I guess they give day passes to less fortunate families through a fund of some sort, which is a nice thing to do. Everything was close or close enough to not complain about. The cafe was wonderful! I especially loved the caramel latte's and the cofee gelato. I gained 7 lbs..... I didn't like having to use the whatsapp app because of their connections to the CCP and privacy issues in the past, so I quickly deleted it upon our return. It was helpful when we were there only because the cell service sucked. A-

Overall a good experience but not great. The breakdown: Pros: Nice beach, clear and free of seaweed. We had use of the cabanas which made it even better. Property was well maintained. We stayed in one of the Villas and the rooms are fairly modern and beds were comfy. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Cons: The food was probably the biggest let down. The buffet selection was ok but a bit limited and some of the food was cold. The specialty restaurants were not very good. The hibachi was probably the best. The sushi was not very good. Dinner at the Italian restaurant started off great with the appetizers and salad bar. However, it took 1 hour to get our entree and when it finally got there the food was cold. For the price it was ok , but there are better options particularly for food, if that is important to you.
