„We stayed only stayed 1 night at Houghton Hall but will be going back. Our room was in the original part of the hall and had character and charm, with the wooden shutters on the windows, wonky floors and cornicing. The room was clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. If you like modern buildings and new decorations then this is not the place for you. The building could do with a little updating in areas, but that could take away from its charm.“

„Solides Hotel an günstiger Lage. Nahe dem Bahnhof und wenige Fussminuten von den Einkaufszentren entfernt. Gemütliche Lounge und gutem Essen. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Lärmempfindliche Personen solten das Zimmer 202 meiden da sich gleich daneben das Fitness Studio befindet.“

„Our room smelled of cigarette smoke, the wash basin was cracked, the furniture was chipped, and the decor very tired the several areas of the property needed decorating and maintenance especially the ceiling in the lounge which was very stained with a water leakage. The breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful.“

„This is a very disappointing hotel that could be so much better. The large hole in the driveway should have warned us not to go further.After a long drive and a nice stroll around very pretty Ludlow we were looking forward to a well earned drink and a good meal.The odd looking hotel we had booked in appeared to offer all of these things. But the receptionist only told us that no dinners were being served and that we would have to go out for dinner when we asked her ! So we did jump back into the ...
