„Das Abbots Mead Hotel ist perfekt gelegen, um Shrewsbury zu Fuss zu erkunden. Das hübsche Backsteinhaus liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Fluss Severn entfernt, der die Innenstadt fast umrundet. Das Frühstück, das in einem schönen Raum serviert wird, wird auf Bestellung zubereitet und ist sehr schmackhaft. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, aber sehr klein, was dem Komfort abträglich ist. Das WLAN funktionierte quasi nicht, was ärgerlich war.“

Lovely little room with a lovely window view outside, spotless with some tea and coffee treats. Convenient in the middle of town too. Will be returning again ! “
