„Good location, short walk into the centre. It has parking at the rear, although it could be a little tight if full. Only one word to describe the staff: AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. „Hotel short walk from station run by young couple keen to make a difference. Oozes character, surrounded by historic architecture and fits right in. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast.“

„Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. „Das Abbots Mead Hotel ist perfekt gelegen, um Shrewsbury zu Fuss zu erkunden. Das hübsche Backsteinhaus liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Fluss Severn entfernt, der die Innenstadt fast umrundet. Das Frühstück, das in einem schönen Raum serviert wird, wird auf Bestellung zubereitet und ist sehr schmackhaft.
