„We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again. “

AC worked great during the heatwave, the kitchen had all the accouterments needed for meals, and the grill (very important to me) worked like a charm and we had great ribeye steaks seared to perfection. Wi-Fi was reliable and the neighborhood was quiet. We hope to book another stay here.“

„We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.“

„We stayed here for a long weekend, a group of girls from our family. Games, cooking, baking, puzzles, laughs, so much wonderful time together. The home offered so many spaces to be together but also to break apart into small groups or have alone time. Plenty of sleeping space. AC worked amazing. Kitchen super updated and so large! Deck table was fun to hang out at. Near town and grocery - loved going to Placerville downtown for a few hours and also Blue Barn Provisions - both close to home. ...

„Very nice, very clean and well appointed cabin near Calavares Big Trees and several excellent lakes. Has what you need, location, coffee and dog friendly. Owners very responsive, directions super clear. Upstairs bedroom can warm up a lot. Be great if there was a ceiling fan up there are MANY other types of fans available. Nice touches: lotsa phone chargers, selection of games, coffee station with grinder and beans, sharp knives and kid says thanks for the Oreos and buttered popcorn. 10/10 would ...

„lovely place to go on long walks in both the mornings and the evenings with our dog. We saw deer wandering through the neighborhood almost every night. The house is clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. “
