„Exactly what we wanted, a place with a great view and a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely awd required and recommend some extra ground clearance. Our awd VW made the climb no problem but at the bottom of the drive when you start the serious climb my wife would spot to make sure we didn’t drag the front or get high centered. 440’ of climb in .5 miles, we enjoyed walking every day seeing deer and rabbits and raccoon. We even saw a black bear on the gravel road in the valley. “

„We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Swiss Chalet. Very quiet, cozy, and clean, and stocked with a nice variety of staples. It was delightful to have coffee in the mornings sitting on the back porch overlooking the bamboo trees. Very accommodating for our pups, too, with dog bowls and a big comfy doggy blanket available. The hosts are lovely and very easy to communicate with. We always love visiting Asheville, and staying at the chalet made our trip all the more fun!“

„Overall the house is beautiful and was very comfortable for a family of 10. The living areas are large and suitable for large families to hang out. Lower level has a fuseball table, mini pool table, and tons of board games. Communication with home owners was clear and responsive. A few small but manageable criticisms: Mountain view is obscured in the summer from tall trees, showers needed a deep clean, and there was only 1 TV in the house, on the lower level. "Eigentlich ein gutes Hotel. Aber 1. Der Pool und die Terrasse sind super klein und es war furchtbar laut. 2. Die Baustelle direkt am Hotel ist riesig und super laut. (man hätte die Gäste im Vorfeld darauf hinweisen müssen), wir hatten ein Zimmer im 16. Stock ab 7 Uhr war es mit schlafen vorbei 3. Gesamt ist das Hotel zu hellhörig. Nicht nur der Lärm der Baustelle auch von innen, wenn jemand im Flur vorbei lief und sich unterhalten hat hat man im Zimmer alles deutlich gehört. "
