„Home is great. A bit of a challenge to reach due to part of the Blue Ridge Parkway being closed due to Helene. Went with the notion of being a wedding anniversary and near a dark sky site. Excellent in terms of privacy and relative darkness. Spouse is 5'2" and had a lot of trouble entering and exiting the hot tub. The mini split ACs are very effective, although it was challenging to understand they all have to be set to AC or heat to work. I'm technically inclined, so this did not pose an issue ...

We had a blast with the pool table. The back yard wasvery spacious and well groomed. It was hard to leave when the time came to pack up and go at the end of our stay. It was thebest way to start my 50th decade .“
