The staff was courteous and professional, which was a positive aspect of our stay. However, the room was only adequate, with a few noticeable issues. The shower head was taped to prevent it from falling, and the bed was extremely hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The food was another significant disappointment. Many dishes at the a la carte restaurants lacked flavor or were overly salted, and some had strange, unpalatable flavors except Cocoa Restaurant, that one was the most decent one.
Worst of all, we experienced food poisoning on our last day at the resort. Despite feeling unwell, we proceeded with our scheduled layover in Mexico City the next morning. Unfortunately, my wife's condition worsened, and we had to hire an IV therapy agency to help her recover.
This was the worst experience we have ever had at any hotel or resort. We strongly advise against staying here.
