„Definitely cute comfortable and clean and well equipped, except for paper towels;) no biggie! Perfect for 2-5 people. Very close to waterfront or dock within sight distance however i wished it a bit closer but all and all no real complaints only compliments. Great and cery attentive host! I would for sure visit lady slipper house again!“

„It was very clean and cozy. The weather was still cold to catch any fish so we stayed in more than planned. Located in a convenient spot. Close to restaurants and party store. Just over an hour to Traverse city. Not too far for groceries. Only could stay 3 nights. Communication from owners A. My husband made a good choice for our short getaway. Close to the lake and a marina. I would go back here. “

„We stayed for 7 nights at this cabin and it was everything I wanted it to be. We had a couple snow storms while we were there and Aaron and Kim sent us a message to see if we needed the driveway plowed so we could get out. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts were friendly and non-intrusive. The cabin is a little drafty, but it's a cabin in Michigan in the winter. We expected that and it was easy enough to take steps to counter it. „Everything was wonderful. Just one pretty minor complaint: the CD player was weird to operate and only one speaker worked. We had a great time. We visited Tuttle Marsh and the River Road on the Au Sable River on our way out, and climbed the lighthouse and hiked all around the edge of the peninsula. The fall colors were at peak for a good portion of our trip up. Thanks very much for making our 40th anniversary a great experience.“

„Richie was an AMAZING host. He was great with giving recommendations on things to do and if we needed anything he was only a text away. The cabin is a perfect rustic getaway that provides all the basics. The beds and futon was very comfy and the fireplace was PERFECT. The cabin is so close to the lake and it was perfect. The water is so clear. Over all it was a great getaway with my husband. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. “
