„Everything about this property exceeded any expectation I had. The view- the land/rockscaping that takes you down to the river is just beautiful. The river is so close to the house the views are stunning every direction you look. There is a “patio” area that is literally on the river with comfortable furniture and is covered and dry even when it rained. The house is immaculate, clean and so comfortable. „We're from Georgia, and we were looking for a place that would have an eclipse rise at maximum coverage at sunrise. What better place than a lake? Well...the Great Lakes are very fickle beasts w.r.t. weather. Nevertheless, after numerous foggy mornings, we got a great view of what we wanted on the day that we needed. „Great place ! It was clean and had everything we needed. Host is wonderful! We went for a family reunion and didn’t spend a lot of time there as we were busy and it was a short trip . Would definitely stay there again and for a longer stay:) We had some warm nights and it was kind of steamy so I would suggest another ‘window shaker’ AC . They have one but it’s a big space to cover . It was ok with the fans they have . Summer in beautiful Michigan ! 💞“

„We truly enjoyed our stay at The Van Etten Lake Chalet! It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and living spaces are clean and spacious. Grab bars have been installed for safety and assistance if needed.
