„Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus hat seinen Charme bewahrt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, allerdings für meine Begriffe wäre etwas mehr Blick aufs Detail angebracht. Der Hinterhof ist sehr idyllisch eingerichtet und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Beim Frühstück ist Selbstbedienung, wobei die Küche groß, modern und gut ausgestattet ist. Nachts war etwas Strassenlärm zu hören, was uns aber nicht groß gestört hat. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„Excellent stay! Valerie and Eric were fantastic hosts who gave us a warm welcome. They were giving great recommendations on dinner and to do‘s in the area. The inn is quiet, very clean and the room was cosy! We immediately felt like home! The breakfast was outstanding! Next time being in Hudson valley we will definitely stay in the Journey Inn again!“

„The property and location were amazing. Super easy to get to and from different points in Kingston. Walkable area. Good parking direction from the host. There was a logistical mix up but they fixed that immediately. It would have been nice to have the sofa bed made up upon arrival or at least have extra linens in the suite, but I let them know via their text line, and they sent someone within an hour. The breakfast/coffee situation leaves quite a lot to be desired, but hopefully theyll work out ...

„I can’t wait to go back! The sun drenched Cliffside room was an incredible home base to explore the Hudson Valley. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. I loved watching the birds outside the windows each morning. It was a perfect weekend away!“

„My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon. “

„This is a lovely room in a quaint historic large home just a few miles down the road from the Omega Institute. I stayed there b/c Omega had no more housing. Lynn was a delightful and accommodating hostess. Would definitely stay again.“

„Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, ruhige Lage. Komfortable Ausstattung und ansprechende Inneneinrichtung. Gastfreundlicher Service (Getränke für Zwischendurch). Das Frühstück war gut - allerdings stets sehr amerikanisch (gehaltvoll). Eine leichtere Variante im europäischen Stil wäre eine gute Ergänzung. Offene Gespräche am Frühstückstisch haben wir geliebt. “

„The walls and floors are not well insulalted so you can be in the peoples conversation (who lived there 3 of them)want to or not.I asked for ear plugs andt they didn't have any n were mad that I asked. They were cooking in kitchen @9:30 in the evening making diner with lots of noise.. My room was up 5 steps n the room next door thin walls . The place was not clean. You did not have use of any of the house like the ad says.I was not even allowed to make a cup of hot water on the stove.Bed was ...

„Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money “

„The house was beautiful, cozy, and very comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and since it was raining, we didn’t get a chance to explore the surrounding area. One cool feature was the projector and screen in the living room — it definitely made our trip more fun and memorable. The only minor issue was that the coffee maker wasn’t clean, so I had to clean it myself. Other than that, all the beds, including the sofa bed, were very comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Thank you!“

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
