„We had a wonderful time in this A-frame rental. Our hosts were very communicative and helped us out right away when the driveway got icy. We couldn't have asked for better communication from them. The house is also spacious with comfortable beds and very nice kitchen appliances. The house seems new and not-lived in, which is not my preference, but good for many guests. „My family and I had a great time staying in Athens. The facilities allow for a host of activities such as getting out on the lake or going for a dip in a heated pool. The lake itself is much bigger than I had anticipated. The layout of the house works well and the basement was a great gathering spot especially on rainy days. The only sore spot was the garbage process. You’ll need to throw out trash using special bags provided by the HOA and we only received two bags. That’s not enough for a ...

„Rimon and Sallie's place is fantastic. Very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The kids were able to have their own separate space, and the common areas were great for food prep and sitting down for meals. The kids loved the hot tub and were in 3 separate times (even in the freezing temps!).The house is very private on a beautiful road, and is a short drive to Troy, Albany, etc. We had a great dinner at Hill Creek Tavern 5 minutes from the house. „We very much enjoyed our time spent at Eagles Nest playing pickleball, ping pong, time at the pool and using the various boating equipment. Just beware as you may encounter a water snake or 2 but they are timid and we continued enjoying the dock activities such as fishing, kayaking, paddleboating or just laying on the floating mat. „The house was beautiful, cozy, and very comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and since it was raining, we didn’t get a chance to explore the surrounding area. One cool feature was the projector and screen in the living room — it definitely made our trip more fun and memorable. The only minor issue was that the coffee maker wasn’t clean, so I had to clean it myself. Other than that, all the beds, including the sofa bed, were very comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Thank you!“

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
