„Loved the view out over the Hudson River from the private deck! Enjoyed grilling on the handy BBQ. Comfy bed and well appointed kitchen. “

„My partner and I stayed the night while visiting the area for a concert. Definitely recommend! The house is really nice and incredibly clean. There is a little washer/dryer unit and a little back deck with a pretty view of greenery. Parking is easy and so is check in. It was a great place to stay! “

„Charming historic building. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Neighbors were polite. This was our first stay at a B&B and am excited to try others. My wife and I would recommend and would stay again if in the Albany area.“

„The house was perfect for our needs and decorated adorably! It was super clean, organized, well appointed and comfortable. The hosts were very easy to correspond with and very responsive. (I asked about a blowdryer and they brought one to me the same day) I would recommend this home 100%“

„Hosts were great, very quick to respond! A lot of good eats close by with a bar downstairs to enjoy some drinks. “

„We stayed here for West Point graduation. It was not too far away even with us driving there almost each day. Very clean and new appliances, bathroom and bedroom furniture. A must thing to do is visit The Croton Dam. Maria was very attentive and welcoming. “

„very nicely decorated, lovely views out the back into the woods,had everything we needed...plenty of towels, comfy bed. Really good sushi restaurant 1 minute walk away. Very clean, very homey, nice original art all around. Not super quiet- we could hear street traffic and a little people sound from downstairs but it didn't bother us. Complaints in other reviews about sulpher smelling water really not that bad“

„Clean, had all the amenities we needed and communication with the owner/manager was quick and professional. The only downside is the location- some loitering around and not as safe. When people stayed at the apartment below we could hear them late at night. Not a huge deal, as we were mostly there alone. We’ll definitely come back. “

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
