The cottage was very clean and comfortable, as described. Jane allowed us to keep our bikes in her garage and was available whenever we needed. Highly recommend this property!!“

„Mountain View Escape is beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained. The bedroom is like a luxury hotel room with a super-sized king bed and luxurious linens. The grounds are spacious and delighted my young dog. I loved the quiet, low key neighborhood, which is conveniently close to Gardiner and New Paltz. I could not recommend the place more highly. “

„You had a wonderful time. The kitchen, the dining space and entertainment areas perfect and very close to the center of town. Always fun.“

„We’ve been staying in vrbos for many years and this was an average house. The location was great. We had a dog and the patio in the pictures shows access to the backyard which we didn’t have. They could use dinner knives as the ones there have no blades. The outlet in the bathroom kept blowing when trying to use a blowdryer. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and would recommend to others for a quiet retreat yet close to everything for a well rounded trip. “

„This was just what we were looking for. The host was very quick to respond to any of my questions. We enjoyed the location and all the amenities. The outdoor grill, outdoor firepit and inside fireplace were enjoyed and it was a nice bonus that there was plenty of firewood.“

„The cottage was a great place to stay with great easy access to downtown Woodstock, Kingston, and Rhineback. Lots of attention to detail by the owner. For example, there are plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes and tons of books and DVD's. The DVD's are displayed in alphabetical order and there are multiple heat zones that enabled the bathroom to independently be very warm while keeping the remaining zones more temperate. The place has everything you need for a cozy stay. The only ...

„A quaint cottage-style home, perfectly suited for a couple. As cycling enthusiasts, my wife and I really appreciated the property's proximity to the nearby rail trail. Being able to ride to the trail from the house was especially nice. Although sparsely furnished, the cottage includes virtually everything you need for a pleasant stay. „The house was beautiful, cozy, and very comfortable. We only stayed for one night, and since it was raining, we didn’t get a chance to explore the surrounding area. One cool feature was the projector and screen in the living room — it definitely made our trip more fun and memorable. The only minor issue was that the coffee maker wasn’t clean, so I had to clean it myself. Other than that, all the beds, including the sofa bed, were very comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Thank you!“

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
