For example, we needed to iron some clothing prior to dinner on Friday evening, and couldn't find an ironing board. I messaged Cody, and when we came back from a long afternoon of shopping, there was a brand-new iron and ironing board waiting for us on the front porch. We felt like kids on Christmas morning. The building itself is old (most places to stay are around there), so I appreciated the bathroom was newer and updated. Oh - the deck! „My visit to The Allenhurst was pleasant. Small space but accommodated all my needs for a two night stay. Pretty quiet. Bed and pillows were comfy. Everything was clean. The only thing i would consider is perhaps a tiny bedside lamp so I wouldn't have to get up to turn off the overhead lights once I settled but that was minor and not a big deal at all.
