„Sehr angenehmes Hotel mit sehr hohem Standard. Leider etwas nah an eine Schnellstraße, die deutlich zu hören ist. Penibel sauber, mit schönem Restaurant und Bar. Der Spa Bereich ist für englische Verhältnisse sehr schön, ebenfalls absolut sauber, mit Dame am Empfang. Eine echte Empfehlung.“

„Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. „This was a beautiful property on 13 acres with orchards and a lovely courtyard. The room was extremely spacious and meticulously decorated and cleaned. The bathroom was spacious and featured a fabulous shower (Room 3). Sue was a gracious host and prepared a delicious made to order breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Conveniently located to the town of Thirsk which has a James Harriet (All Creatures Great and Small) museum. Well-worth a visit with shopping and parking. 5-stars!“
