The cottage was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The little touches—like the delicious treats left for us—made us feel welcome right away. Our children loved watching the cows in the nearby fields, and my husband and I appreciated the calm, relaxing atmosphere. It gave us a much-needed break from the usual pace of life.We hope to return again soon. ...

Beautiful and relaxed setting just minutes from remote parking for the bus into York if you're interested. an easy drive to Haxby - which had everything we needed as far a shopping and restaurants. Eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice - all made for a perfect light supper when we arrived after a long day on the road. We were able to do some laundry. Enjoyed bird watching. Just a lovely stay overall and would definitely stay again “
