„Die Unterkunft liegt in einem nördlichen Stadtteil von York in einem Reihenhaus. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15 Min. in der Stadt, für Ausflüge, z.B. in die North York Moors oder an die Ostküste, ist man schnell auf der Ringstraße und umgeht den Stadtverkehr. Parkplätze waren vor dem Haus regelmäßig vorhanden - außer, als einmal im nahen Stadion der Minstermen ein Fußballspiel lief. „We were a party of five and really loved everything about this converted barn: The spacious layout, a well equipped kitchen, ensuite bathrooms and very comfy beds. „Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und alles entspricht den Fotos im Inserat. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Innenstadt kann man von der Wohnung aus zu Fuss erkunden. Sie liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadtmauer. Die Abwicklung hat sehr gut geklappt. Parkplätze gab es immer genügend vor der Tür. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.“

We loved the conservatory- kept beautifully warm by the kitchen range, though cooking with the range was tricky and we didn’t discover the microwave until the final day! „Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday ...

„Our stay at Turpins Loft was brilliant. Great location, only 2 minutes from the Shambles and next door to Clifford’s Tower. Easy to get the keys and check in, not much communication needed prior to arrival. The place was clean, warm and modern with everything you needed for a short or longer stay. No issues with noise apart from the occasional traffic sounds at night, but nothing to keep you awake. Would stay here again in a heart beat. “

„The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect ...
