But a lot of things didn’t work when I arrive, the wifi didn’t work, no TV signal, the stove top didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work. The staff did respond quickly to come fix things. „Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.“

"Unglaublich freundliches Personal, schöne Zimmer mit sehr grossen und gemütlichen Betten. Das Buffet ist für ein Buffet ziemlich gut, und die À-la-carte-Restaurants am Abend sind sehr gut, mit einer Auswahl an japanischer, mexikanischer, französischer und italienischer Küche. Auch Pool und Strand sind sehr schön. Im Sommer gibt es allerdings jeweils etwas viele Algen, was jedoch generell ein Problem in der Region ist."

"Alle Servicekräfte waren extrem lieb und aufmerksam! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel hat hier und da Verbesserungspotential. Vor allem der Geruch in den Zimmern war unangenehm, aber das liegt wohl einfach an der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit. Ansonsten ist die Anlage sehr schön in den Dschungel eingebettet. Der Weg von der Rezeption bis an den Strand alleine ist schon super schön. Aber lang. Bei den Restaurants gibt es starke Unterschiede. Das Steakrestaurant hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Das Essen war nicht gut und das Restaurant selbst war ungemütlich. Wirkte wie eine große Halle. Das Mamma Mia und das Tao wiederum sind wirklich wirklich schön und uns hat es dort sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch das Rauxa ist gut, aber Geschmacksache in Bezug auf die Shows dort. Wir fanden das Frühstück und Mittag im La Palapa immer gut mit genügend Auswahl. Vor allem die frisch zubereiteten Sachen wie Omelette, Burger, Steaks,… Alles in allem sind wir die Meinung, dass es ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist."
