Hot springs a couple of minutes walk away, and wildlife preserve an easy 20 minute stroll from the house. The cabin does face south, so after a couple of nights iof clear skies and good aurora activity but no sighting, we walked out to a spot close to the cabin to a place with a view of the northern skyline ...
