The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.“

Kitchen was stocked for stovetop cooking but not much for baking, and no water glasses. (We just drank everything from the coffee cups.) Split bedroom layout was good for two couples. “

„This is an attractive, well-laid out house with an extremely accommodating owner. The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath.“

„My wife and I, along with my two daughters and grandchildren stayed at the Queen City Cottage for 4 nights. We needed to add an extra day at the last minute and Marissa was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean upon our arrival and entry was a breeze. It's a bedroom, 1.5 bath, with extra bathroom in basement in laundry room. Location wa great! Restaurants and shopping minutes away. It was generally clean but needed an air purifier for previous smells like cigarettes not an air freshener. The oven and stove were not very user friendly but we did eventually figure it out.
