„Excellent stay! Valerie and Eric were fantastic hosts who gave us a warm welcome. They were giving great recommendations on dinner and to do‘s in the area. The inn is quiet, very clean and the room was cosy! We immediately felt like home! The breakfast was outstanding! Next time being in Hudson valley we will definitely stay in the Journey Inn again!“

„Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus hat seinen Charme bewahrt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, allerdings für meine Begriffe wäre etwas mehr Blick aufs Detail angebracht. Der Hinterhof ist sehr idyllisch eingerichtet und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Beim Frühstück ist Selbstbedienung, wobei die Küche groß, modern und gut ausgestattet ist. Nachts war etwas Strassenlärm zu hören, was uns aber nicht groß gestört hat. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„The setting for this bed and breakfast was what you think of when you think of bed and breakfast - quaint setting - rustic accommodations in a country environment. Bring your computer or a book - no TV in the room. The only "complaint" is that breakfast was sparse. We thought she said, "yogurt, fruit, and granola" but when we looked in the around the common kitchen/frig we didn't see any granola. There were 2 containers of yogurt and a small bowl of blueberries. We weren't sure the other stuff ...

„Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, ruhige Lage. Komfortable Ausstattung und ansprechende Inneneinrichtung. Gastfreundlicher Service (Getränke für Zwischendurch). "Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"
