„To start you have to park a distance away and transport all your things across a makeshift bridge that is leaning to one side. You have to beal with roosters all over the place. The kitchen is in main level with minimal amenities and no ac.The upstairs was ok but the ac can only ho down to 70 and if you need anything from the kitchen you have to go outside and down stairs to get to it. „I spent a week in Puerto Rico, and the three days I stayed at The Vieques Guesthouse were definitely the best part of the trip. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than planned, so I only got to enjoy part of my last day there. If I could have stayed the full day, I definitely would have. „The hotel is all right. Pitty they do not offer any breakfast at the hotel. There is a microwave, a coffee machine and a mini oven close to the reception so you can prepare your own meals and have coffee but nothing to boil water. The swimming pool is nice, but it is not possible to have a sunbath laying flat because there are no deckchairs. The room was clean and had a mini fridge. It was badly smelling with chlorine though.“

„A super helpful staff that picks up the phone and helps out for a self check in hotel. Booked day of, had to change reservation like 3 times, and they helped me through it all. Room was super easy to get into, directions were smooth and simple, and the area was perfect. Right next to one of the most active parts of town, and a 8 minute walk from the Bio Bay tours. Be aware, there's no microwave in the room. AC worked amazing. Showers hot water lasted well, just don't blast it. “

„Vieques is a lovely Island and staying at Blue Horizon elevated my experience, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is set up in a way very privately, is not crowded. The rooms are spacious and clean, access to the beach is lovely and same with the pool. I really recommend staying here. “

„Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen mitten im Grünen. Alle Unterkünfte passen sich toll in die Natur ein. Es gibt einen schönen Gemeinschaftspool und Eis umsonst. Ein Frühstück ist im Preis mit inbegriffen, dieses muss man allerdingst selbst zubereiten und wer nicht auf vegane Pancakes und Haferbrei steht, muss zu zweit für zwei Tage von 4 Eiern leben. Leider war unsere beide Nächte kaputt und wir haben weder einen Preisnachlass noch eine Reperatur bekommen und das bei 30Grad. Ansonsten eine tolle ...

"Frisch renoviertes Hotel. Man gibt sich viel Mühe mit der Umgebung des Hotels. Der Pool und die Terasse gegen das Meer haben uns gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war etwas einfach ausgestattet und dürfte mehr Lampen haben (warum z.B. hat nur ein Nachttisch eine Lampe?) aber wir haben gut geschlafen. In Fussweite gibt es Strände und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Die Informationen für den Check-In dürften früher kommen, weil ausländische Gäste nicht immer Roaming haben - Tip für neue Gäste: Das WLAN-Passwort steht bei der Reception an der Wand."
