„This hotel is the best place to stay in Kinigi/to gorilla trek! It’s the closest lodge to the Dian Fossey campus and women’s village, and the staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We loved that we’d come back to the hotel and they’d clean our shoes and give us a foot massage. They’d also get a fire going in your room while you are having dinner. We’d come back to bed with a heated bed (thanks to a warm water bottle they place in there) and a fire ...

„Lage sehr gut, Zimmer ok, Bad mit Oberfenster zum Flur (!) und etwas miefig; Frühstück furchtbar - das schlechteste in Ruanda, Pool im vergleich zu Serena zwar größer aber nicht ganz so sauber, und nur 2 Liegen für das ganze Hotel!! (Serena - 12-15 Liegen am Pool und nochmal ca. 20 oder mehr am Hoteleigenen Strand). Sehr schlechte Information im Hotel über mögliche Aktivitäten, Touren etc. aber nettes, bemühtes Personal. “

„The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) “
