Great location, don’t rely on communication

The house suited our needs very well. It was spacious and perfectly located. Loved being able to walk to all the great bars, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. in Blackstone. Close to the trail too so perfect for running. It fit our multigenerational family well. The description includes two designated parking spots. There were indeed two spots, but one was being used by an unauthorized vehicle. I tried asking the neighbors and no one claimed ownership of the car. I tried contacting the owner through VRBO and never got a response. I finally called the tow company listed on the parking lot signs, but they were unable to move the vehicle. We never were able to use that spot. There was street parking available and a dirt lot across the road, but as my parents have limited mobility and I have young children I really would have preferred both spots. My brother left an item and I tried contacting the owners about it after our stay but again they never responded. Not great at communication or customer service.

Worked out ok.

House worked out fine, but a lot of light bulbs burnt out. We put in as many as were in the kitchen cabinet. Needed tv remote batteries and they were all over the house. Seemed to be very confusing, but everything worked out. Enjoyed the wedding we came for and the Omaha zoo was really fun.

Sleeps 10+ Comfortably in Great Location

The house was beautiful and in a great location. We had a large group for a family reunion ranging from 1 - 56. As others have noted there are a lot of stairs, which were not a problem for our family. Blackstone (bars) were loud on the weekend, but nothing that bothered us as we are heavy sleepers. I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog, as there's a neighbor who is extremely sensitive to barking. The walls must be very thin as they said we had our windows open...in which we did not and the dog was kenneled on the 4th floor. The very first day we left our dog for less than 2 hours, and they complained about barking (and exaggerated the timeframe). We ended up bringing him to a daycare the remainder of our stay. I did put 4 stars for cleanliness as we had to clean the kitchen floor when we got there, with no response from VRBO when sending multiple messages that week.

Perfect location in Blackstone with historic charm

Perfect location in Blackstone so you can walk to restaurants and bars. Beautiful historic charm in the house - loved the exposed brick walls! Fully appointed kitchen made it easy to host our extended family for a long weekend visit. Dedicated parking in the back was a definite plus.

Xmas getaway

This house worked great for our group of 8! My husband and I are from Wisconsin, as well as our 2 oldest daughters and their significant others. Our youngest daughter and her fiance are currently in Denver. They couldn't come back to WI this year for Xmas, so we met them half way and celebrated the week after Xmas. The house was great! Plenty of room for all of us, without being on top of each other but a great location. We even made our own pub crawl because there are several places within walking distance.

Wedding Stay

Myself and my 2 sisters and our families stayed here for my son's wedding. It was a perfect setup with girls on the top floor, 3 rooms for the couples on the 2nd floor and boys in the basement. The stairs are very loud as it's an old house but that is the only downside (and really wasn't a problem if you sleep well) Everything was clean and comfortable!

Great for young families

This was perfect for our extended family. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I would not recommend for the elderly or someone with limitations, as there are a lot of stairs. It was perfect for our group

Celebration of Grandmother’s 85th B-day

Great for a sizable group as there are 3 1/2 bathrooms on 3 levels and various bed configurations. In a neighborhood close to downtown and many great restaurants within walking distance. The only problem was that the internet connection wasn’t working. Some members of our group have hotspots thankfully.

Very Comfortable/family friendly

Loved the historical vibe with modern amenities. We traveled with two young families with kids from 3 yrs old to 7 yrs old. The kids had a wonderful time playing with toys in the basement and loved their 4th floor bedrooms. The stairs were steep, but we set some safety rules with them early and they were just fine. Thoroughly enjoyed gathering at the large table for breakfast. Great location with good eateries within walking distance. It was hot in Omaha, but we were very comfortable in the house. Host was responsive and was able to extend us a late checkout. Very gracious! Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Omaha vacation!

Located in Omaha’s Blackstone District, this beautifully redone townhouse was perfect for our stay ( 11 family members) We walked to breakfast at Early Bird & Coneflower Ice cream is just steps from the back door. We went to the zoo (outstanding), walked across the pedestrian bridge over the Missouri, & shopped in the Old Town District. Some toured the Joselyn Castle, others went to the casino, a cheat brewery & gaming room. The Beyond Van Gogh exhibit was breathtaking! Omaha has so much to offer. Highly recommend!

Great Host, Great Location, Great Home, Great Stay

We were VERY pleased with this VRBO. Our host was fast to respond to get us setup for our stay. Gave clear directions and the description was exactly as stated in the VRBO information. It was CLEAN, full of kitchenware and plenty of space for our 12 person family. With it being a large 3 story floor layout, the separate AC control for the top level was really great, especially for the hot weather week we stayed there. The location of this VRBO is amazing! 5 minute walks to great local restaurants, 10 min drive to the zoo and other great Omaha attractions. This is a MUST STAY for groups looking for a great stay in Omaha.

Home Away from Home

Our stay was as close to home as we can get. Our family of 9, (two toddlers) were comfy and cozy. Kid games, warm blankets, TVs, and space abound. So many little nuances are included. I recommend this rental to everyone. Thanks Nebraska for a great week.

Meet in the Middle

My adult children loved the proximity to the fun nightlife and my grandchildren loved Meatball and the ice cream store! We took a trip to the zoo and waterpark - great time and easy to get to from this location. The online description is perfect. The only thing keeping this property from five stars on cleanliness is the downstairs carpet. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this place for visitors of any age! Omaha rocks and so does this property - even with torrential rain!
