New appartments downtown Montreal with many minus

Unfortunatly a place which I believe ran out of money during the contruction face. No washing machine and dryers although they have been advertised. The kitchen outfit was poor, no sharp knifes, no scissors, no toaster..... Lots of unfinished furnitures and already run-down walls and beds (this is based on the people you rent the rooms) and very thin windows which make you feel the road just goes through your room (room 306). Needs a lot of additional improvement. A big plus was the guy from the reception you tried to help wherever possible. If I would come back at lot of things have to be done ans proven.

Overbooked

This place is so new that they don't have a proper reception, so finding it was not easy and the entrance door was locked. Once we managed to get in, we found it was overbooked and it had only one room left (we had booked two). It took over three hours of discussion before a suitable alternative was found: the people tending to the reception were new and had little decision power.... but were friendly and understanding. Overall it was exhausting. I cannot rate this place as I have not actually stayed there (since I have to give a score, I base it on what I saw from the entrance to the reception). ... but if you are planning to stay make sure you call and check they have your reservation.

Nice Apartment hotel - once it will be finished!

The apartments are actually very nice and spacious, however the fact that may parts of the hotel do not yet feel finished is disappointing. While the apartments are almost there, for instance dish washer - which are already in the kitchen - are simply not connected, leaving you with dirty dishes unless if you want to wash them by hand, as the room service also doesn't feel inspired to wash them. And you will end up with dirty dishes, because the uninspired breakfast is not served in a breakfast room, but in one of the apartments, meaning you need to bring your food back to your room on shaky paper plates (why invest in actual plates?). Die breakfast itself is disappointing as it mainly consists of bagels, bread and if you're lucky and early enough maybe croissants - all of which felt like they were a day old. And if they ran out of something (for instance fruits of tea bags), the answer of the room attendant was "I'm sorry I ONLY work here, I putted out all the breakfast I could find" - which did not leaveus with the impression of a well managed place. Considering that the place just opened, it is also disappointing to already find dust and hair in the room. This is rather disappointing as the apartments otherwise would be very nice and spacious, in a good location. I would hope for them that they will be able to finish all the installations in the room as well as the restaurant soon and decide to implement a little bit of quality control - then it will be a great place!

Nice hotel but....

Hotel is very nice, modern, clean, comfort but.... _The phone number listed on Expedia is a joke. Tried to contact hotel 1,2 days before, no one ever answer.Even I used the fax number to inquire about the pass code. No one ever response. _ Need to improve customer service, specially when check in. _ No front desk person, you're talking to a Ipad, The problem is the ipad is behind the 2nd door, in order to get to that you have to have pass code to get in. I was lucky enough to get in when someone walked out the door otherwise I would be freeze to death with temp -10 outside. I checked in _Hotel lost my reservation, I booked room with 3 queen beds, when I check in they already gave away my room, because of mixed up between Expedia and Hotel. I end up with room only 1 bed and a sofa bed. _ No garage door opener, no TV remote control. I have to ask for it. One advise to potential guess; skip this if you can

The check in was different that the usual because you need to calla free number for a code to enter into the hotel, because there isn’t anybody in the hotel, the room was lovely, but the heating doesn’t work fine so we had cold all the nigth, be side that is a nice and clean place to stay

Different management,different name.

Amazing room with great amenities. It Doesn’t have a front desk. It is virtually staffed.... the only problem was that you need to call them to get a code to enter the building and access the virtual front desk. international calls through cellphones are hard to accomplish. Other than that, I will stay here and recommend. Great place, great location, great virtual staff.

Nice suites and nice staff, we ll never forget!

We stayed in 307 suite Penthouse from Oct. 23th to 28 th .I ld like to thank to Jean Robert, Joe ,Yassine Pascaline and the woman housekeeper for everything,those guys are amazing and very attentive to help me with everything at their fingertip. thanks guys for making our holiday unforgettable!! Ther other part, Suites & Loft is new apartment so the staff have to set up everything, no phone in the Room yet, One in our TV was not working.The washer and dryer in the room were not working, but they give you another option to help you if necessary.

Très belle chambre comme sur la photo cependant, l'hotel est difficile d'accès puisque le Lobby ce trouve dans la ruelle et non face a la rue et pour ce rendre au garage il faut entrer par Code a l'interieur, descendre au sous-sol remonter a pied pour appuyer sur la porte. Si vous n'etes pas accompagné cela sera quasi impossible. Il n'y avait personne a la reception et difficile a rejoindre après 18hrs.

Everything was great! Lovely place!

Everything was nice. From the parking garage, up through the elevator and to our apartment. It’s not a hotel, really. It’s like a short-term rental of an apartment for a hotel price. A really good price, IMHO. I can’t pretend that I have a lot of experience staying in places like this and it was my first trip to Montreal, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. For me, I was happy. The decorations were nice. I actually found the place fancy. It was sparsely decorated, but nicely done. It created a comfortable ambience for my wife and I to enjoy. It was romantic, really. There weren’t bellboys and hotel staff catering to our every need, but that’s okay. We didn’t really need anything. We had a dinner reservation at Le Club Chasse et Pêche in the Old Port and that was our main reason for coming to town. We are from a small village in Vermont and we decided it was high time we treated ourselves to some of the fanciest dining North America can offer, assuming we can drive there in a few hours. NYC is just a bit far, so we settled on this place. Wow! It was very good, but I don’t know enough about food to say more than that. As far as this condo we rented, it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the Old Port. It was so nice to be so close to the restaurant and everything else in the area. We were able to stroll through the Old Port and then, after dinner, we went up through Chinatown and then back east on Ste. Catherine St., through the arts district. Great experience!

Enjoyable! Felt like my own downtown apartment

It was so nice to check in to this wonderful suite with a full kitchen and kitchen appliances coupled with a sparkling clean bedroom, living area and bathroom. It was like having our own apartment in downtown Montreal! Located in the east end of downtown, we knew there was tons to do outside, but we hardly wanted to leave such chic accommodations! The check-in was easy. The host was there to greet us. From then on, we were pretty much left alone, but that's okay, I like it that way. I prefer it that way, actually. We made full use of the underground parking, leaving our car there while we explored the city on foot (which was easy to do from this location). We actually did get out and walk around, believe it or not, but we were really just in town for the one night on our way back home from Nova Scotia. The metro station is right nearby, the building was nicely decorated and, for the price, our suite was huge! Next time, I will bring my whole family or maybe come with friends. We really had an enjoyable stay and our only regret was having to leave.

Hôtel très bien placé. Installation neuve. Personnel sympathique qui a pourtant l air d être livré a lui même. Aucune information dans l appartement concernant les codes des portes, le wifi , l accès au parking . Il nous faut réclamer ....en cherchant les personnes en charge. Le nécessaire pour la cuisine est réduit au strict minimum, pas de couteau de cuisine , de passoire. ... La chambre rdc "avec vue " donne sur une cour arrière qui ne permet pas à la lumière de rentrer. Celles des étages semblent plus agréables. C est dommage car c est un bel endroit très bien placé mais qui mériterait plus de professionnalisme.

Borderline district

We liked the hotel and our studio was very clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The beds were new and very comfortable. However at night the neighborhood becomes quite scary. I saw several people exchanging needles and cash close to the hotel entrance. Also there were homeless men going through the trash bins, but I saw a lot of homeless men in various parts of Montreal.
