Set Sail! House rental fees include: on-premises parking, all resort amenities and activities, water sports and golf cart rentals.

Set Sail! House is ideal for large family and friends gatherings, with 4,000 sf of flowing open-space, inside and outside. The modern design of our home allows up to 18 guests to comfortably dine and entertain together without feeling overcrowded, fragmented or separated. The home features 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths (2nd floor), a combined cooking-living,-dining-entertaining open-floor concept (main level), and a spacious basement for entertainment. All indoor and outdoor spaces feature built-in speakers for entertainment, ambient lighting, and cooling fans. The home is equipped with a smart-home console to control lighting, entertainment and climate across all indoor and outdoor spaces. The home offers complimentary WiFi. Our guests can be assured that with 6 wireless access points throughout the property, they will reach a high-speed connection in all indoor and outdoor spaces.

INDOOR SPACE
Our home features a gourmet kitchen where your family or friends can gather around the largest island in BeachWalk (12 by 4 feet in size). We have thought of every detail of your cooking and dining experience here. We have filled every drawer and cabinet with what we think you might need during your stay here. The kitchen features a large refrigerator with a freezer and an ice maker, a wine fridge, a microwave, gas stove, toaster oven, two coffee makers (drip and Keurig), hot water boiler, a 1000W blender, and a pantry filled with coffee/teas, condiments and spices.  

Our spacious living area features a smart t.v., a gas-fed fireplace that can be enjoyed from both, the living room and the back porch, all at once. It features a large sectional sofa with seating for 14, a game table for 4 and a dining area for 12. 

All bedrooms feature highly-rated springless mattresses to provide the best of rest & relaxation. We receive a lot of compliments about the comfort of our beds. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated. Both master bedrooms feature king-size beds, each with its own bathroom. One of the master bedrooms has a t.v. Third bedroom is a queen. The fourth and fifth bedroom feature two twin-size beds and two pull-out trundle beds, total of 4 beds in each room. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and window shading. 

The basement features a large t.v. screen to maximize your gaming experience, a full-size ping pong table and a large children's book library and a full-size bathroom.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Set Sail! offers the largest back porch at Beachwalk and since it faces pristine forest preserve, it is the nicest, too. The back porch is fully screened, has ambient lighting, cooling fans, a cozy dual-sided fireplace, and a flat screen t.v. It features a very large dining table with seating for 12 and a very comfortable, high-end wicker furniture for relaxing. Our back porch is enjoyed equally by those in need of outdoor, personal, or social space. We receive a lot of compliments about our back porch.  

Enjoy your evening after the beach with dinner cooked in our gourmet kitchen or outside grill or our cozy brick back patio with a gas-fed-no-hassle-instant firepit for some smores. We provide the smores sticks, just bring your own marshmallows. Gas-fed Weber E-310 grill is at your disposal.  

Our front porch is a must-do for those who love to watch "the action". Mary Lane is a fun place to watch from a comfortable rocking chair or talk to other resort guests passing by on golf-carts or flyer wagons.

BEACHWALK RESORT
Set Sail! House is located at NW Indiana's hidden gem, Beachwalk Resort. Beachwalk is a premium resort community with its own expansive Lake Michigan beach and an in-land Lake Kai, with beautiful boardwalks and nature trails. Lake Michigan beach is designated as Stop 7 of the Indiana National Lake Shore. Take a short walk to the beach or hop on a golf cart to the boardwalk, and you're at the beach! Our garage has just about everything you need, except for your bathing suit. Beach chairs, clean beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach games, badminton, bocce ball, axe throwing, two bicycles, pull wagon, flyer wagon, water floaties. 

Not up for the beach? Beachwalk has other complimentary activities for you.

Lake Kai Activity Center offers our guests rentals of kayaks and paddleboards, shuffle board, bocce ball, and a fishing pier (seasonal). 

Club House, at the resort center, offers our guests a beautiful community heated-pool with lots of deck space, a brand new splash pad for our youngest guests, a large heated community pool, and a toddler pool, a beach playground, multiple basketball, beach volleyball and tennis courts. The Club House's tower offers expansive views of Lake Michigan and the resort. The Club House is home to the Beach Hut Cafe with ample outdoor and indoor seating, pool and ping-pong tables. 

Yoga - Club House 2nd Floor Mondays and Wednesdays 8AM (seasonal)

Movie Night every Tuesday 6PM at the Resort Beach Club 2nd floor. The movies are family-friendly. Ice cream and popcorn available at the Beach Hut, downstairs. 

Music in the Park live entertainment, every Saturday 5-8PM. Bring your blankets (plenty available at the house), and a picnic wagon (available at the garage). Our Summer Music in the Park program features local artists and our own residents, playing all family-friendly genres.

Cassin Park Playground – remodeled in June 2023. Just across the street from Set Sail!

Fishing, dawn till dusk. Main fishing pier is at 234 Beachwalk Lane. The fish are jumping at ponds in Waterfall Pak and Putting Green Park, too. If you’re an early bird, the Activity Center pier is another great spot before the kayakers hit the water at 8am. It’s catch and release. Bring your own fishing rods and bait. 

The Putting Green is located at 116 Power Lane. It’s right on the edge of a pond with plenty of shade trees to keep you cool while you calm your nerves and sharpen your skills. Clubs and balls not provided.
