We arrived early and jetlagged, and despite not even asking for it, they made it possible for us to get into our room hours before the officially posted time so our son could get some rest. „Stayed in a separate room with children. The room was a little old but clean and comfortable. We didn't have to worry about the noise from the children because it was a separate room. There was a private hot spring bath, which was very nice. The food was very tasty and there was more than we could eat. The staff were all very kind, friendly to the children, and the service was excellent. All in all, the hot spring resort exceeded my expectations and I would like to return. Thank you very much.“

„The two of us stayed at ryokan Reimei at the end of March and we booked the reimei room with an open bath. We had the best experience ever. We could go in for a dip whenever we felt like it. The shower is on the outside with the open bath and the coldness of the weather wasn’t a problem for us since the water of the shower was quite warm and you jump into the onsen right after… (I see lots of comments complaining about that). "The service was excellent! We arrived early and jetlagged, and despite not even asking for it, they made it possible for us to get into our room hours before the officially posted time so our son could get some rest. The private 50 minute slot in their hot spring baths are also very much recommended to get a nice carefree experience of the Japanese bath culture. Especially for families or couples this is nice because this option let's everyone stay together. instead of splitting up. The free tea and coffee dispenser on each floor is really welcome too, especially after a hot bath. We really liked sleeping in our tatami room, and even liked the tatami mat smell, but it might be an unfamiliar smell for some. "
