„Jackie was an amazing host. She was responsive to questions about the island and things to do. She even had a few snacks waiting for us when we arrived late at night. It was such a comfortable and clean environment to relax and explore the Outer Banks for our first trip there. Would highly recommend staying here. Location was great, views of the marsh and ocean, and very comfortable setting.“

„Perfect for me traveling solo. The place was extremely clean. The towels were soft. The sheets were soft. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best bed I have ever had in renting places in OBX for 30 years. Everything I needed was there. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. My favorite seafood market in walkable distance. „This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience. “

„The location was perfect, the villa was so dirty and it had a nasty odor/ I had to go out and buy a candle and spray. The smell was so intense it hit you as soon as the door was open. I can't beleave the cleaning staff did not do any thing about it....“

„This is the second time our family of 4 has stayed at the Villas of Hatteras Landing. It has everything we need and we love being in walking distance to the beach and shops. The local grocery, Village Market, is also great. The beach is quiet and absolutely worth the drive. “

„The unit is nice and decorated good. The bed was comfortable so that was a plus.We rent a cottage for a week every year and often go down for a couple of days. About 50 % of the time the beds and pillows are terrible. People pay a lot of money to go on vacation and should be able to rest in comfort.Only issue. The pillows are thick and hard. my wife slept with a couple of beach towels in a pillowcase and basically ended up throwing that on the floor. One of them was soft enough for for me. She ...

„This unit had a dehumidifier which was a BIG plus over other units I've stayed in. It would be nice if they could figure out how to drain the water so that it could run constantly. It took a full day to get the humidity down to where is was comfortable. Amazing how much water it removes! The other nice thing about this unit is that you can park right behind it. “

"Der erste Anblick ist etwas konfus, wohl durch das bunte Ambiente der einzelnen Hausabschnitte. Tatsächlich haben wir auf unserer Reise allerdings die beste Ausstattung der Räumlichkeiten in einem Motel vorgefunden. Das Bad war mit einer großen, ebenerdigen Dusche ausgestattet und sogar gefliest. Die Küchenzeile hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit Zubehör, einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle und viel Ablagemöglichkeiten. Koch- und Grillmöglichkeiten sind in einem außen liegenden Gemeinschaftsbereich großzügig vorhanden. Der Service war stets gut, der Empfang sehr nett, unkompliziert. Auch haben wir viele Tipps für gute Restaurants in der Nähe bekommen. Beim Auschecken musste lediglich der Schlüssel abgegeben werden. Alles in einem: Sehr zu empfehlen."
