I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. „We planned a quick trip to Busch Gardens and I couldn’t find any great hotels so I decided to check out VRBO for fun. This house was affordable and had such a beautiful view AND they allowed dogs! A plus all around. We got to see Navy ships, Coast Guard water drills, helicopters as well as Ospreys and Bald Eagles during our short time there. The inside reminded me of my grandma’s house, cozy and laid back. We will definitely stay here again in the future.“

„What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. “
