„We rented the house as lodging and a central location while family and friends came to town for a local funeral. The house fully suited our needs with plenty of rooms and space for everyone to be together or take time on their own. „The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner ...

Free and one of the US best trips.There were only 3 of us so the house was spacious and we had a bathroom each. All the facilities you need , Good wifi and Tubi TV. Overall excellent“

„The stay was Nice. Guest Rooms were VERY spacious and comfortable. Only con is the Bugs especially with it being the summer time. Overall stay was Nice and staff was friendly. Shout out to Tony for the delightful service at Williamsburg Colonial location. “

„Overall a good hotel with many facilities and activities to choose from close by. Suggestions to improve: please add some freshly cooked meals to the breakfast containing mainly instant ones. Some scrambled eggs or even just ham/cheese and fresh tomatoes would be great. “

„Great location and easy access to all of Williamsburg, and attractive setting from the exterior, however, the one bedroom suite was very disappointing, dated and dreary furnishings and cramped/impractical kitchenette. Not a nice environment for a longer stay. The mandatory $7/day provides only a limited activity program that would be of little interest to many adults. To end on a more positive note, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive!“
