„We had a fabulous 1 night stay, room was beautiful, patio area was great too. Only negative feedback was no milk and only a coffee machine which was awful for tea drinkers as the water tastes like coffee still. Saying this however we would come back and just bring a kettle! :0)“

„Das Hotel ist etwas ausserhalb des Ortes, nicht auf anhieb zu finden, liegt etwas zurück gesetzt an der Straße nach Buxton. Wir hatten ein ausreichend großes Zweibettzimmer, dass Bad war überraschend groß. in einem der Betten war die Matratze durchgelegen, das zweite Bett war in Ordnung. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, sowie Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Wlan hat einandfrei funktioniert, allerdings hatten wir im Haus keinen Handyempfang, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das englische Frühstück war gut ...

„Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub. Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again.“

„It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. The roads to and from are a single track and rather rural. Take is easy and ...

„Blossom House is in the heart of Tideswell Village, and provided for a really enjoyable stay. While it is next door to the Horse and Jockey Pub, i suggest you venture to the Star public house for food and drink. The H&J is a bit naff.“

„Lovely clean, comfortable room, slept like a log. Service in the bar/restaurant was superb. Got there just before the kitchen closed on a Sunday and nothing was too much trouble. Will 100% stay again. “

„Ein sehr altes Haus, sehr gemütliches Zimmer, mit einem sehr kleinen, aber voll funktionstüchigen Bad mit Dusche. Nichts für Gehbehinderte, steile Treppe und viele Stufen. Alles super-sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, ein sehr gutes English breakfast und ein schöner Garten zum ausruhen - prima ! Sehr empfehlenswert. “

„The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over ...

„Everything was fine about the Braemar set in a quiet residential street lovely hosts only a ten minute walk into Buxton town centre couldn’t fault it enjoyed our stay “

„Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful.“

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
