My husband loved kayaking in the lake. It is definietly set in the country but that what exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be close to both storyland and our family in Bridgton so it was the perfect spot for us. Thanks for a great stay. We are already looking to stay for future dates!“

„This vacation was my way of celebrating my 50 th birthday w/ my family. The location was secluded enough to not hear traffic but very close to stores, restaurants, hiking trails & golf courses. The house had everything we needed to cook , it was very clean and spacious. The fire pit and beach were great. We all agreed it was special enough to come back.“

There are many breweries and restaurants within a very easy drive. The only issue we were not thrilled with is you have to bring your own sheets and towels which we did not see mentioned in the original listing. Aside from this I highly recommend this home.“

„We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun. We ski at King Pine because it’s great for kids, but there are several mountains within easy reach. We absolutely love the open floor plan of the house because we can all be together in the kitchen, living room and dining room on the main floor.
