Tucked beside the peaceful river in Brunswick Heads, River Cottage is a lived-in home, lovingly curated and passionately designed with vintage wares, plants books, games and crystals to inspire joy, creativity, and connection.



Home to a family of radical unschoolers (currently adventuring around the world) and lovers of holistic living (formerly creators of an urban permaculture and alternative lifestyle retreat in Byron Bay’s Historic district).



This unique property blends vintage charm, permaculture, artistic inspiration and conscious living. It’s more than a place to stay - it’s an experience in the good life.

River Cottage is designed with warmth and wellness in mind. Polished concrete floors keep things cool underfoot, the big dining table invites long shared meals with family and friends, and the house sleeps six guests comfortably (with extra room on the large lounge if needed). There is aircon and heating to keep you cosy year round, out the back you will find a family friendly yard with a trampoline for the kids and the property is completely fenced in with plenty of space for your hound to join in the holiday fun.
