    If your looking for peace & quiet.....

    We're just back from a 2 night stay. Although the cottage is small, it is a traditional cottage. Beautifully decorated, and very well looked after and the cleanliness was 100%. Good storage, and beds were very comfy. Plenty to see and do without having to drive for hours, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The families renting out the other 2 cottages were very friendly amd we had great craic! Plus we had the weather as well. Absolutely beautiful, very relaxing and would definitely recommend.

    rustic cottage

    Pros: rustic cottage in lovely location by iconic church in Ballintoy Harbour. comfy bed. nice shower Cons: Every day out of 7, new 4-5 ugly big, flat bugs (not sure what kind) in bathroom . The washing machine worked once, and not thereafter. Owner did reply, but unfortunately could not fix issue I've always booked with VRBO in North American locations, so not sure if Europe is different. But there were certainly no 'extras' that we usually get in north america. no salt, no sugar, 1 towel for entire week, no paper towel, very little toilet paper. Maybe that's assumed in Europe, but we were surprised that we had to go and buy these on our own. Also really no 'handbook' of how to use anything (washing machine, heating, kitchen appliances). Again, whenever we called owner he was able to tell us how to go about things, but might be easier for him and guests to have a book/binder detailing these things.

    Dream cottage

    I picked this location online as a birthday treat for my fiancee and she loved it, the place was immaculate when we arrived complete with 2 welcome drinks sitting waiting for us, ideal location for beach, pubs, restaurants, and probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in, a big thank you to the owner's and we will definitely be back. 👍

    Does what it says on the tin. Great place for quiet break in small cottage. A few things to sort out at check-in but owner was keen to sort out.

    Better than I ever imagined it would be.

    Clem was really responsive; I had some questions and he answered within minutes. The cottage itself was super-clean, well-appointed with towels and dishes, and even had laundry (once I figured out how it worked!) For two people it was just perfect. The location and nearby scenery were simply amazing. Cliffs, ocean, a hidden beach, Giant's Causeway....and unexpected gems. Additionally there are several tiny restaurants within walking distance that had very good food. The desserts at Roark's kitchen were worth the "treacherous" descent to find them.

    Rope Bridge cottage was super - perfect for a couple or family to explore a beautiful part of the world.

    Some good and some bad

    Good points: Located in a quiet position on the Causeway Coast and Ulster Way. Good, clean and ample accommodation for 2 people equipped with most things that you would need. Bad points: Had problems with communicating with the owner and it took 3 calls to the HomeAway Help Centre to get through. Whilst there is an O2 personal hotspot in the property, which was able to see my laptop, it was only able to connect to the internet for ~10 secs. before disconnecting. On asking the owner (Clem) he informed me that the cottages had never had an internet connection, but was not worried that the website listed it as having one. Space would be very tight for 4 people.

    Thank you for a great experience! The Cottage is in the perfect location, charming and clean! It had everything we needed and more. The perfect place for a longer get away and we wish we could have stayed longer! The house was accurately described. Loved having the washer dryer. The host was acessible and left us with great recommendations for dining, etc. Our family of three was quite comfortable.

    Amazing, eveyerthing was well presented and very confortable. Great location, absolutley beautiful

    What a unique little cottage. Great care has been taken in the presentation and everything seems to have been thought of. The area is beautiful, endless great walks and very good restaurants but you do need a car. Its about 10 minutes to Ballycastle and for restaurants 15 minutes to Bushmills. Must come back again to visit Rathlin Island, there is a day return trip to the island.
