I had a phone call from the propritor saying they had made a mistake with the booking and the en-suite i had booked was not available anymore, he did try to book me in somewhere else but could not, he then said he had a double room with a bathroom along the hall which we could have , i really had no choice as i was already on my holidays so i took that option. When we got there it was filthy , not the room but the stair carpet , plus the curtains in the room were dirty , the bed looked fine but we had been put off by the first immpression of this DREAM HOUSE!!! by also the grounds it was in were not maintained very well so we did not stay and the money was returned to us for what we had paid

We won't be going back......

Dreamnight...someone has a warped sense of humour! It was a challenge to explain that we had a booking to the chap who answered the door as hebarely spoke English and it went downhill from there.... Walking up the stairs it was obvious that the carpets haven't been cleaned in some time, the skirting boards may never have been cleaned. Our en-suite room was large and spacious but... , the carpet wasn't clean, the toilet holder in the bathroom was broken, the lights over the mirror didn't work, the set-top box had been removed to use on the tv downstairs (I saw him unplug it and bring it to our room after I had explained our TV didn't work) and finally there was a pair of someone else’s boxer shorts at the bottom of the wardrobe!!! There were sheets and towels drying on the wooden frame of the decking outside while there was an unused circular clothes line in the corner of the garden. We won't be going back and won't recommend it to anyone else.

OK place, not somewhere I'd recommend

Decent size room, clean and comfortable, that's about it on the good points. T.V didn't work, no internet connection, hosts not particularly friendly or accommodating, and had to have breakfast in the lounge sat on a sofa instead of a dining room.

No towels, No beverages, No TV in room, No soap, dust and cobweb can visibly be seen, the overall odeur was not pleasant. Breakfast was terrible, no coffee or tea, a slice of toast and uncooked crumpet and very cheap croissant, small Jam and yoghourt from Aldi...Cereal in Tesco box with a jug of milk, which passed over from table to table!!!

VÊrelse nyt og pÊnt, jeg manglede MEGET en hÞrtÞrrer som der stÄr der skal vÊre, da vi bad om morgenmad kl. 9 kunne vi fÞrst fÄ kl. 9.30 - Ikke "cooked breakfast" - Kun ngl til vÊrelset, ingen til fordÞrren, vi mÄtte banke pÄ hver gang vi skulle ind. LÊkker dobbeltdÞr til altan, men ingen nÞgle, sÄ dÄrlig udluftning da kun 2 smÄ vinduer der var Äbningsbare. Ikke stor utilfredshed, men heller ikke et sted jeg vil booke nÊste gang.

Nice location

The guest house was in a lovely location, close to all local amenities. The down side was having to be back at the hotel for 12am, in an evening out you find you are watching the time. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. I do think that the breakfast could do with a rethink. All in all a lovely place, the staff were very friendly and helpfull.
