Nur wenige Minuten vom weltberühmten Algonquin Park am schönen Oxtongue See. Dieses Ferienhaus liegt in den reifen Kiefern auf einem Niveau viel und nur 30 ft entfernt. Vom Rand des Wassers. Genießen Sie einen Tag auf der Anklagebank, während die Kinder schwimmen und spielen zusammen flachen Küstenlinie.

Schlafen 8. Die Hauptferienhaus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer mit Queen und zwei Einzelbetten, voll ausgestattete Küche, Bad und Wohnzimmer. Die Bunkie (befindet sich noch näher am Wasser) verfügt über zwei weitere Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen und volle Etagenbetten sowie ein Wohnzimmer.

Ausgestattet mit einem Kanu und zwei Kajaks. Groß für Ihren Paddelabenteuer auf Oxtongue See, wo Sie sind nur eine kurze Paddel, um szenische Ragged Falls Provincial Park.

Das Hotel liegt drei Stunden von Toronto und nur 30 Minuten entfernt von der Innenstadt Huntsville. Gemischtwarenladen ist ein Fünf-Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und Algonquin Outfitters ist ein 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Machen Sie dieses Ferienhaus Ihren perfekten Familiensommerurlaub!

Freddie’s is such a lovely cottage. Will and Bridget were very communicative and responsive. The place was very clean, had the best stocked kitchen (small appliances, cooking utensils, crockery etc) of any rental I have ever stayed at. Our only disappointment was the indoor fire was not useable. However we had lovely outdoor fires. The cottage is located next to a resort, which was fine for us, not too loud at all. It’s east facing so get got the most stunning sunrises and moonrises

“A Little Bit of Heaven”

“Freddie’s”This is a wonderful place to spend a vacation! It is as advertised and more! We will definitely book this for our family again)!!!!!We loved the cottage and bunkie, the property and proximity to the amazing lake with sandy bottom.The cottage is well equipped both in the cottage and outside. Lots of water toys - boats etc. the fire pit well set up for evening gatherings around the fire under the stars.Even though it is close to a quiet cottage area it is very private with tall trees and a well manicured property.The area and town of Dwight has lots of options for shopping for dining necessities - Henrietta Baker a must for out of the world delicious pastries and Dwight’s Market and Pharmacy (fresh baked breads, fresh produce and a great fresh butchered meats - steaks were so delicious and tender- and more).If you are thinking of renting in this area you need to consider this cottage,Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven - we will return. Perfection on Oxtongue Lake

Our two-week stay on Oxtongue Lake was truly perfect in every way! The cottage itself, along with the beautiful bunkie, are EXACTLY as pictured on the site and extremely well stocked. Everything is immaculately clean and updated. Kitchen is well stocked and all is in perfect working order. The property is very pretty, especially during leaf season! Close to the neighbouring property, but private in every single way because of the layout of the property. We loved every aspect of our Canadian fall visit and hope to return soon!

Our family had a lovely holiday on Oxtongue Lake. The cottage and bunkie were cozy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was ample outdoor seating so we could enjoy meals outdoors and lounging on the dock. We really enjoyed the kayaking. The lake is beautiful. It is a great place to vacation.

We loved Freddie’s! The main cottage was amazing. Very well appointed kitchen, the best we have ever had to be honest! Cozy and comfortable. The boys loved having the bunkie to themselves at night. We stayed at this beautiful cottage recently for a weekend getaway. Check in instructions were clear and process was smooth. The cottage is beautiful and very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away. We had a wonderful weekend filled with boating, swimming, campfires and pure relaxation. Summer getaway with kids

We had a lovely stay at Freddie's in July 2023. The cottage and bunkie are well kept and clean. There are all the amenities that you want at a cottage and other nearby activities, like the rapids and the beach. The only surprise to us was how close the neighboring cottages are and how busy the lake is. That being said, the property is private. Perfect cottage for our summer vacation and super fun for our kiddos! We'd love to visit again!

Beautiful place

We had a great time at this beautiful place! It is ideally situated between Algonquin Park and Huntsville on a quiet, relaxing lake. The small town of Dwight is a quick drive for supplies if you didn’t want to go to all the way to Huntsville (which is only 20-25 minutes away). The cottage and bunkie were clean, beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed. The kitchen was wonderfully organized & stocked with everything we needed and then some! We brought more than we needed to (all we really needed to bring was food and clothes). The lake is clean, sandy and shallow near the shore. Ideal for children and dogs. We really appreciated the flat lawn with a fire pit after having stayed at a cottage with multiple sets of stairs to get down to the water. We made use of the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards, all provided with the property. Definitely would recommend staying at Freddie’s to family and friends. Perfect family summer cottage time!

Fantastic cottage week!

Freddies was everything we hoped for when we booked it. The cottage was so cozy, comfortable and very clean, we didn't want to leave! We had access to both the main cottage and the bunkie which was perfect for our group - 2 families each with one child. The cottage is extremely well stocked and organized with all the cooking essentials as well as books, puzzles and games. The living space was really cozy for rainy days and the beds were also very comfortable. We loved the beach area and the dock and took advantage of the paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. The cottage is so close to Algonquin park that we were able to do some day hikes as well. Bridget and Will were very responsive, we were never left waiting for an answer on anything we asked. We loved our time at Freddies and hope to book again for next year!

"Stay as is"

Pictures are misleading, neither building are easily accessible for anyone who uses walker/cane. Besides the main bedroom being spacious - the other ones had inches to move around. There was a foul smell that came from the sinks and from the toilet 's (which had brown water). The grill was VERY old and could use an upgrade. The "bunk house" had a musty smell and some sort privacy for each doorway would have been nice. The dock was nice and so was the dinner table.

OXTONGUE LAKE STAY

The main cottage was lovely, the kitchen was beautiful and functional, we checked out the bunkie it also was perfect for another family/friends to stay. It place was great for our dogs, we really appreciated that there was a 3 foot fence on both sides of the property so we didn't have concerns that they would wander. The waterfront was really nice as well, the dock was great, Would have been nicer if there were steps down the front of the dock to access the water without walking through all the leaves etc that covered the lake bottom. Overall the place is a perfect getaway. We would definitely consider going again and recommending the place to our friends.
