Einfache Bungalows an top Strandlage

Die schönen Beach Bungalows liegen alle direkt am Strand, sind aber etwas klein. Gartenbungalow in 2. Reihe ist etwas grösser jedoch abgewohnt. Nicht das modernste Badezimmer, aber insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt zu einem guten Preis. Einfache Kochgelegenheit im Bungalow und Bar/Restaurant am Strand. Kostenloser Transfer vom und zum Flughafen.

LIeber andere Alternative suchen

Enttäuschend. Wir waren 5 Nächte da. Das Personal ist meist unfreundlich bis wenig am Gast interessiert. Besonders die Rezeption ist nicht so wie man sie sich vorstellt. Wenn man explizit darum bittet, wird es zwar gemacht, man fühlt sich aber als Belastung. Lage zur Lagune ist TOP. Preis ist meist gut, aber dafür haben die Moskitonetze Löcher, die man erst reparieren sollte denn es gibt viele Plagegeister, die Einrichtung ist abgewohnt, mit z.B. Plastikstühlen. Auch eine Kakerlake hatten wir zu Besuch. Zimmerservice ist nur 2-3 Mal pro Woche. Jede Kleinigkeit, wie Schnorchelsachen und Transfer zum Shoppen kostet extra. Die Bar ist fast immer leer und wirkt auch recht teuer.

Ein "Bijoux" der Südsee!

Auf der kleine Insel Aitutaki fühlt man sich wie Robison Crusoe, nur kann man noch den Luxus des Hotels geniessen, einfach fantastisch!!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand, wo man in dem Hotel angeschlossenen einfachen Restaurant auch lecker essen kann. Ein weiterer Vorteil: Im Hotel kann man Motorroller mieten. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen!

Great positioning of property. Directly sitting on beach with a wonderful view of lagoon. Only set-back of stay was shampoo was not provided with toiletries. Please state that shampoo is excluded in toiletries provided as stated on info in website. So we would have brought our own. Otherwise everything is perfectly fine. Great place and staff. Charming place on a beautiful beach!

Overall I would highly recommend its place. It’s not fancy (not sure Aitutaki is for that anyway), but charming. Perfect location! Directly on the beach. I watched sunsets from my balcony overlooking the beach. The lagoon protects the beach there, so the water is as calm as that of a lake. Though the place was fully booked, I was often the only person on the beach! It’s a quiet location. — My included breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, juice, cereals, toast and a big spread of delicious, fresh fruit from the island (star fruit, coconut, papaya, guava, banana and watermelon). — A staff member not only picked me up from the airport, but also took me to a grocery store before taking me to the hotel (buy mosquito spray; it‘s necessary anywhere on Aitutaki. But the island is worth every mosquito bite). Same staff member also helped me make a lagoon tour booking. Everyone was very helpful. — Downsides: hot water was a bit temperamental, but always worked; mattresses are a bit lived in, but I slept fine; and the installed AC wasn’t yet hooked up in May 2018, though the giant ceiling fan helped. — I would stay here again!

The view from the bungalows was superb and the staff extremely amiable. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Paradise Cove but be prepared for the dripping shower, cracked tiles and borers in the furniture. All part of the package and adds to the relaxed feel of the place.

Nice hotel on the beach

We have our own cottage right on the beach but the coral beach has no place for swimming! We are picked up from airport by Moana, a cheerful lady. Next day,the hotel booked Bishop Cruise for us to see the lagoons. It is a wonderful day although the weather is not perfect with some rain in the afternoon. We did not do snorkelling but enjoyed a great experience with a small group cruise and stayed a few hours in a deserted island. Excellent lunch was provided with BBQ Fish, hot dogs and local salad, tropical fruit. Also we got One Foot Island stamp on our passport.

Forget big cities and enjoy a peace and quite

It is a clean, budget accommodation, but as in tropics there are geckos in the room and you need also be aware of mosquitoes in the evening/morning. The bungalows are on the beach and even in low tide you could still swim there-no need for the pool. The beds are comfortable and kitchenette has 2 hot plates, kettle and toaster. It is located a bit far from the village, but there are about 4 options for meals in walking distance. Otherwise, hire a bicycle or motorcycle. Island is small and you could cycle around under 1.5hrs. Breakfast was continental, but on some days were pancakes. A good selection of fruits. Staff was very nice. In about 10-15 minutes walk there is a best from shore snorkeling spot, but you could also snorkel from the beach in front to bungalows. It is a wonderful spot to relax and watch sunset with a glass of vine from the bar. The only negative is early wake up calls by the roosters.

Missing Aitutaki

Kind, polite & considerate owners/ staff. Wonderful breakfasts, spectacular surroundings. Best beach for swimming & walks. Bed was very comfortable. Would like to see improvements on the buildings. Overall a great place to stay & would recommend Paradise Cove Lodges.

Nice stay on beach

We stayed in their seaside cottages. Basic, but comfortable. No TV, which was perfect, so we really could relax. They cleaned our room once or twice during our 5 days stay. Breakfast was included, so was transport to airport. Staff was very nice. I just wish they would upgrade little bit bathroom in cottage where we stayed (I didn't see other cottages).

Basic, but it's on the beach

The place is old and worn but comfortable. Breakfast is fruit and cereal and bread. They advertis a happy hour which is a joke - the kid behind the bar pours a capful of spirits into a glass of soda.

Fabulous views!

What a lovely place to stay! The bungalows are right on the beach--fabulous views from the balcony--and very comfortable. No air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan and then the beach breezes also cool things down. Much nicer than staying boxed up inside a standard air-conditioned hotel room! The beach is lovely and this is the easiest snorkeling ever: when the tide is right then it's more just wading out and bending down to look at the fish. Warm water, too! The main negative is that the hotel isn't very good at communication with guests. Given that most of us are on the island for the first (perhaps only) time, it would be nice if the check-in included a run-down of places to eat nearby, opening days, etc. And I certainly would have appreciated a heads-up that the restaurant wasn't going to be open while I was there, and that they were discontinuing the breakfasts! But all in all, a great place to stay (just keep asking questions, tons of questions).

Nice next to the beach

Will come back for sure nice beach nice staff everything was just right. Close by was very nice spot for snorklling beautiful corals and fish. You will need to rent a car or scouter to go around and you will find nice places to eat.

シャワーの温度が不安定で水しか出なかったり、受付の人が頼んでおいたレストランの予約を忘れたり、営業時間より早くレストランが閉まったりしたが、島旅行はそんなもんでしょ〜。それさえも楽しい思い出になるバンガロー。
