Love this property. Food was delicious. Staff was very accommodating. The rooms were great, had a mini frig and a/c. Shower was clean and toiletries were provided. Right off the beach and music playing nightly.

We stayed at the GR Solaris Caribe for three nights. Overall, we liked the hotel's concept, but there are definitely some things future guests should know. First, keep in mind that this is an older hotel, around 40 years old, so don't expect a modern or newly renovated property. The biggest issue for us was the lobby. It had a very strong smell of chlorine or industrial cleaning products that was quite unpleasant every time we walked through it. The elevators were also having problems. We actually got stuck in one for a few moments, which was a little scary. Another downside is that the walls are very thin. We could clearly hear everything happening in the room next to us, including loud conversations and, unfortunately, a couple having sex and screaming late at night. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. What disappointed us the most was being awakened at 9:00 AM on two different mornings by calls trying to sell us a timeshare presentation. We were on vacation and wanted to sleep in, so those calls were very frustrating and unnecessary. The food was average at best. The buffet had limited variety, and the café was often unattended. Coffee and pastries were available, but there was frequently no one there to serve guests. On the positive side, the hotel has a relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful hotel! Rooms were clean, food was great, staff were friendly and attentive. Richard from sky bar was very attentive and experienced with the drinks. Alfonso, our concierge, was also very helpful and informative, he helped us book a last minute excursion to Xoximilco with a private shuttle instead of the tour bus, which also took a lot less time to arrive to the destination for around the same price. Overall, would love to come back to this hotel if we ever go again without our kids.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Beloved (2019 und jetzt 2026). Normalerweise gehen wir nicht zweimal in dasselbe Hotel, weil wir die Erfahrung gemacht haben, dass das zweite Mal die hohen Erwartungen nicht erneut erfüllt. Hier wurden wir eines Besseren belehrt. Die Anlage ist so wunderschön und top in Schuss, wie vor 6 Jahren. Dasselbe gilt für das gastfreundliche und herzliche Personal! Einfach toll.
