„We just stayed in this hotel for one night, but not just the service at the front-desk was absolutely friendly and helpful, also the stuff in the breakfast-area were really nice! The room was very clean and comfortable! We will come back!“

„Wir dachten uns anhand der letzten Bewertungen, dass man es ruhig wagen könnte, eine Nacht in diesem Hotel zu verbringen. Naja, mehr als eine Nacht würde ich auch nicht empfehlen. Die Bettlaken/Bettwäsche war fleckig. Was wir als sehr unangenehm empfunden haben war, dass die Klimaanlage auf sehr kalt eingestellt war. Als wir sie ausgestellt haben, legte sich eine Feuchtigkeit (was anderes möchte ich mir nicht vorstellen) über alles, so dass sich alles klamm und klebrig anfühlte. Von uns gibt es ...

„Convenient to my organized bicycling tour end 4/26 at Hampton Inn Elizabeth City (other hotels in the area were fully booked). Noisy — only 40 meters away from busy hwy US-17 and a high-pitched sound that seems to come from the room’s fridge/freezer; Bring earplugs. Pros: efficient fridge/freezer; business-like staff; clean (except for some stray pet hair). „This was a great property for our large group to stay. This home in Downtown Elizabeth City has been updated and offers huge spaces and modern upgrades while respecting and honoring the historic home. The bedrooms and baths are huge, and there is tons of living and gathering space (two dining areas, two living rooms). It’s close to downtown, restaurants and easy to the main roads. Would definitely stay there again. “

„Beautiful place right on the river. Tastefully decorated, stocked with linens and towels. The kitchen was certainly stocked with cookware. I made a seafood boil for our group, had everything we needed.Check in was easy! I just followed the instructions on the evolve website and put in the front door code. Great vacation. „It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a good location. The place was clean-ish, but could be more clean. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice.“

"The location is beautiful especially with the priveate beach access. Also the main building l9kks nice and well maintained. Our room was in one of the side buildings. There as soon as you leave the room itself it feels a bit dirty and worn down. The doors and walls in the hallway have bumps and scratches. The carpet is torn and has stains. But the worst are the stair cases. The windows are covered with spider webs and dead bugs. All of this could be avoided easily and would lead to a better impression."
