„We found a lot to love about Herbst Cottage! While the layout is a little unconventional (the huge master bedroom is the only direct route in and out of the house to the back decks and pool), the spaces were big enough for 10 people, and the places we were most interested in, which were the kitchen, backyard/pool, and beach access, were really great. Well equipped with the exception of broken dishwashers (both indoor and tiki bar were broken most of the week) and a leaking ice machine. Response ...

„The house was beautiful, and had just about everything we needed. Very close to the Supermarket. Stocked with games and puzzles. Bedrooms were spacious, and comfortable with a deck off each master, and each had its own TV. We had wind and rain during our stay but the Hot Tub made up for not being able to go into the ocean. When it finally cleared up the beach was just steps away. We had a good time and everyone agreed we would book here again.“

Having the golf cart was amazing to drop the beach stuff off and the family. Sherrie was fabulous! We have never had a host to be so informative and communicative. „Beautiful house, clean with all the essentials provided. It was a 2 min walk to beach access which was wonderful. The host provided beach essentials, bikes, etc. which made packing for the trip that much easier. „The house was cleaner than most beach houses I have been too and it had a fantastic pool and hot tub. The rrooms were really nice and two had an adjoining bathroom. the owner provided a document that provided everything you would need to know about the house and the area. The beach was just down a dirt road that was only traveled by those on the road and the beach was never really crowded and it was very clean. Not great for finding sea shells or sharks teeth but no rocks or anything but soft ...

„We had a great time at the Ocean Views Cottage. Everything was very clean, my husband loved the bike.From a european perspective, I like to recommend to the owners to have some laundry detergent available, as well as maybe basic seasonings like salt and pepper, maybe oil. Otherwise it was a great stop during our road trip.“

„The house accommodated all 17 members of our family ranging in age from 6 months to 63. We loved our time playing at the beach during the day and our nightly walks back in the evening to search for crabs. The pool, hot tub and patio were the perfect place to spend the day as well. “

„The location to beach and town can't be beat! For our family, the layout of home was perfect for sleeping levels, especially with a 1 & 3 year old. We did have an issue with dryer not working but the management was quick to respond and provided us a temporary fix. We definitely hope to go back next year.“

„The property is in a great location close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc., 2 minutes walk to the beach on the ocean side, 20 min drive to the soundside beach. 40 min drive to the nature preserve with the wild horses. Very clean. The house itself needs a little TLC, but this did not affect our stay at all. “

"The location is beautiful especially with the priveate beach access. Also the main building l9kks nice and well maintained. Our room was in one of the side buildings. There as soon as you leave the room itself it feels a bit dirty and worn down. The doors and walls in the hallway have bumps and scratches. The carpet is torn and has stains. But the worst are the stair cases. The windows are covered with spider webs and dead bugs. All of this could be avoided easily and would lead to a better impression."
