„Vorab, es war sauber. Jedoch kein Zimmerservice. WLAN kostet extra7€. Ebenso die angegebene Sauna und der Parkplatz. Die Fenster sind einfach verglast und beim Frühstück laufen zwei Durchlauf Toaster. Das tut schon fast weh was die Umwelt angeht. Die Einrichtung ist brauchbar jedoch nicht hochwertig.“

„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“

„Wir hatten deutlich mehr von der Unterkunft erwartet. Der Gang von der Rezeption bis zum Zimmer war extrem verwinkelt und ging durch 7 Türen. Das Bad war sauber aber alt. Zimmer groß genug, Einrichtung ok. Man konnte zwar im hinteren Teil Parken, in unserem Fall direkt am Zimmer, aber leider war der Zugang von hinten nur mit einer Karte möglich, diese haben wir aber nicht bekommen.
