„It is a really good property, just note it is down a long narrow road which was fine this morning on the daylight but a little harder to navigate when arriving in the dark. Lovely 4 poster bed, all amenities in the kitchen etc. Comfortable stay thank you. Would recommend “

„Das Haus liegt ruhig und etwas abseits der anderen Häuser im kleinen, beschaulichen Ort Thorpe bei Ashbourne. Um das Haus herum Wiesen und Berge, sehr gute Wandergelegenheiten in alle Richtungen. Das Haus war erstklassig ausgestattet und wunderschön. Der Pool und die Schwimmhalle waren durchweg beheizt und wahnsinnig toll! Ray war unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Wir würden definitiv wieder hier her kommen.“

„Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im sehr gemütlichen Cottage. Die Terrasse haben wir, so oft das Wetter es möglich machte, genutzt. Das Einchecken und die freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter waren völlig problemlos. Das nette Bakewell lädt zum Bummeln und Pub - Einkehr ein. Für nahe gelegene Schlossbesichtigungen und Wanderungen ein idealer Ausgangspunkt! Wir würde es wieder wählen!“

„It was a lovely place to stay by the river. Walking distance to the wild swimming area which was really nice as I was left with no car. Climbing up and down the hill to the village was very pleasant as well for myself and my baby (carried by a sling). “

„Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig und bietet mit der voll ausgestatteten Küche die perfekte Basis um zur Erkundung der Gegend aufzubrechen. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Außenbereich ist fantastisch und hat den typisch britischen Cottage-Flair. Wir haben uns bei der Anreise leider etwas verirrt weshalb wir deutlich später als besprochen eintrafen. Der Vermieter war sehr verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Location.“

„The cottage is small, but perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is a great starting point for various trips to the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone! Just one thing: the last few yards to the cottage are on a rather steep hill (hence "Hillside") and it can be a bit tricky to park your car there. You'll need to ascend the last few yards up to the cottage, but if you're reasonably fit, it shouldn't be a problem.“

„What a lovely property, perfect location right in the heart of the best walking country and beautifully positioned - less than a 10 minute walk between 3 gorgeous pubs. It’s a traditional building and has been refurbished very tastefully. Plenty of hot water, powerful shower, new kitchen and bathroom. The owners sent us all of the information we needed to make our arrival smooth and whole stay a pleasure. Highly recommend.“

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
