Spacious, newly-furnished, Victorian terraced house with period features throughout, decorated in a light, contemporary style with all the home comforts you will need for a relaxing break.

Located just a 20 minute walk along the river to York city centre. The property has free high-speed Wi-Fi and Freeview.

This is the perfect place for families and friends to get together and enjoy luxury hotel standards but with the flexibility and space for 6 guests.

Since being renovated it boasts a large, modern open plan living and dining space downstairs with solid oak flooring throughout and tiles in the kitchen. The kitchen worktops and shelves are also solid oak and you will find all the essentials you need in there to be able to cook, entertain and catch up after a day of exploring all York has to offer.

Through the kitchen you will find a useful separate utility area and downstairs toilet.

The dining room also contains a work-station which means you can work from 'home' in comfort and make the most of the free Wi-fi!

At the front of the house is the cosy and stylish living room with 2 sofas for you to snuggle up and relax. There is a beautiful, newly-fitted log burning stove to really enhance your experience.

OUTDOOR SPACE: At the back of the kitchen is a generously-sized yard with an outdoor table and chairs so you can enjoy some time outside during the warmer months.

PARKING: We have a on-street parking permit for one car.

On the first floor there is a large master bedroom at the front with a luxurious king size bed and dressing area. There is a further double bedroom with luxurious bed. There is a large family bathroom on this floor complete with a period fireplace!

On the second floor there is a large twin loft bedroom. The room is l-shaped which means that each single bed has its own private area. All the bedrooms have plenty of storage to hang your clothes and have clean, white hotel standard bedding and towels provided.

This house is bursting with character and period features, furnished in a fresh, comfortable and contemporary style.

You are free to access and enjoy the whole house and outdoor space.

I grew up in Lancaster and have settled in York via Nottingham and Montreal with as much travelling as I could in between! I absolutely love my home city York and am so excited to have this beautiful home to share with people from all around the world. I was a primary teacher for several years and now have a thriving wedding and newborn photography business. I love the creativity this brings to my life and the diverse range of people I am lucky to meet. For fun, I love seeing old friends, eating and drinking out, travel, reading, music and films. My ambition is to make more time for all of these!

The house is situated in a fantastic part of York, very close to local amenities including shops and cafes. It's just a 15 min beautiful, riverside walk to the city centre with the many attractions it offers. Also a 15 min walk across the river to the Racecourse and the famous 'Bishy Road' area with its many independent cafes, shops and bars. The picturesque River Ouse is just at the end of the street, a great area for a walk or picnic. 2 minute walk to the bus stop with regular buses directly to the train station.

It is a 20 minute walk to the city centre either along the river or main road, or a 2 minute walk to the bus stop with regular buses directly to the train station via the city centre.
