„Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. „The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. “

„The owners were very welcoming & the room had everything needed for a weekend away. The breakfast was lovely too. We would definitely recommend and if we returned to Keswick we would stay there again. “

„Excellent good value B&B. situated a 10-15min within an easy walk into Keswick. Tastefully decorated big bedroom in the traditional victorian style with orginal features. Exceptionally clean and comforable with all facilities required. Breakfast room very pleasant with good variety choice of food well cooked and presented. Sharon the owner is a lovely lovely lady very helpful with local advise and places to go. Would definitely recommend to stay. “

„Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! We chose to walk in to Keswick one morning which took about 50 minutes. Check-in was great and informative, outlining options for breakfast for vegetarian & vegan choices. Breakfast was superb with quality ingredients. All freshly made. Room was perfectly equipped and had everything you could need. Great range of local toiletries. Highly ...

„Lorna was so incredibly accommodating and kind. She also made one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had and even went out of her way to get additional vegan snacks and treats when we mentioned it in the optional booking information (when she contacted me within about 15 minutes of booking). The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. Very close to town, either by the road or scenic railway path.“

Hunday Manor Country House Hotel

10/10 Hervorragend

"Das Hotel ist eine Baustelle, von Außen steht ein Baugerüst, das Dach und einige Zimmer werden erneuert! Leider kam uns das Hotel keiner Weise entgegen trotzdem ein Mitarbeiter von Expedia hier angerufen hat ( anderes Zimmer oder Preisnachlass). Zimmer sind aber ok, teilweise schon renoviert. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind super , Essen relativ teuer! 😒"

"Lovely staff, always friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues which were quickly and efficiently dealt with. Be aware, if travelling with older people you may want to book an executive room which are located on the ground floor, it being an old building other floors can be difficult! Breakfast was also lovely, even catering for my Vegan tastes! Thank you all again!"

"Haben einen der 5 Parkplätze direkt am Haus (kostenlos) erhalten; bei Traumwetter (Sonne) im hauseigenen Biergarten auf den Check-In gewartet; Zimmer No 4 übertraf unsere Erwartungen und auch die Jaccuzi-Badewanne funktionierte. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Service, Sektkühler mit Eis für Getränke auf dem Zimmer erhalten und alles mit einem Lächeln. Sehr schön!"
