„We have had several visits to Appletree. It is a brilliant venue for family/group get togethers. It is very comfortable and very well equipped, always immaculate. The new garden chairs are extremely comfortable and the garden parasol was an essential for our wall to wall sunny week - incredibly, not a drop of rain all week! We would always return here ..... when available.A word about the staff at Keswick Cottages, they are great to deal with as we have found over the years, nothing is too much ...

„We had a wonderful stay at Lords Seat. The surrounding area was beautiful and it wasn't too far from places to visit. The only problem was not being able to watch TV in the evening. Someone did come out but was unable to fix it. Also the jam we ordered was mouldy when we opened it. Will definitely go back again.“

„A fabulous apartment to stay in and beautiful place to return to after adventuring. We enjoyed doing long hikes from the apartment without needing to move the car. And we really enjoyed being able to walk out straight to the market. The parking was easy to find, however, the directions for the apartment were hard. The app did not work for us off-line and it would have been better to have a pdf from an email with simpler directions, such as the door to the left of The Stripey Sheep Boutique, ...

„This was our third visit to Lydia's River Cottage and that alone will tell you that we love the accommodation. It's comfortable, has excellent quality homeware and the location couldn't be better for our purposes. Sitting on the terrace, watching the Greta flow past and keeping an eye out for the bird life makes it an ideal getaway for us. Handy garage/food shop 100 yards away and Keswick is a wonderful town for restaurants. You couldn't ask for more.“

„We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. „The location and the facilities both very good. However, we felt cramped and a little claustrophobic in this accommodation. Mostly down to us not really reading the information pack thoroughly enough. We are used to sleeping in a king size bed and this was a double and the cottage is tiny. But for the location and the facilities within the cottage.... Great value!“
