„Ganz tolle Kabinen, sehr freundliches Personal, große Auswahl an Speisen! Leider wurde nicht viel durch die Bucht gefahren, aber das war auch so bei den anderen Schiffen. Leider schwimmt sehr viel Müll in der Bucht, was aber anscheinend niemanden interessiert. Wir haben uns auf dem Schiff sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Es ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!“

„Can’t fault the cruise or the staff who were brilliant.. But if you get up early to marvel at the views of a world UNESCO heritage site your going to be extremely disappointed and annoyed to see a HUGE amount of floating rubbish deposited by boats of all kinds including the boats that brought you there..!! We did see one small boat attempting to clean up some rubbish with a small net with very little impact. Please Vietnam look after your UNESCO site a lot better than you are.“

Also to mention: Scarlet Pearl comes with 2 catamarans for exploring Halong (other ships do no have that!!) and a tender boat for the way from Cruise Terminal to the Scarlet Pearl. „Diese Hotelübernachtung ‘Halong Bay’ ist auf dem Wasser. Suggeriert wird ein hochwertiges Schiff mit einem tollen Hotelzimmer (Schiffskabine in dem Fall). Era Cruises setzt sich dann schnell in Verbindung nach Buchung. Es entstehen dann Zusatzkosten, da man ja erst einmal zu dem Schiff muss. Zu dem Zweck fährt dann ein Shuttle von Hanoi welches einen vom Hotel abholt und dann wieder hinbringt. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 3h. Eine halbe davon Stunde ist ein nichtangekündigter Verkaufsstop auf einer ...

„The boat is a mid range cruise nothing fancy but still clean and comfortable. The itinerary itself follows the same as every other boat doing these tours. It’s really only 3 activities in 2 days. The 2nd day is a 30 min kayak and then you spend all morning on the boat and waiting at the dock for the return. If you really want to explore Halong bay I wouldn’t recommend this. Also drinks on board are super expensive! “

„Die 3-tägige (2 Nächte) Tour war ein voller Erfolg. Das Schiff (Royal Orchid III - 2 Monate alt) hat meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Es gibt noch zwei weitere Schiffe in der Organisation (Royal Orchid I + II) welche 1 bzw. 2 Jahre alt sind, aber ebenfalls in nichts nachstehen. Service absolut top! Würde ich wieder buchen!“
