„One-night stop on the journey from Portsmouth to Scotland. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The attached pub offered a great variety of food options and it was very welcome after a long bike ride. The car park is fairly shut off from outside viewing - so that made us feel more secure leaving the bikes there. It is not close to anywhere on foot. But we didn't need that. Would use it again for the same purpose.“

„In ganzen ist es für ein Paar Tage für Übernachtung OK. In unseren Zimmer gab es keine Garderobe, oder Schrank. Es ist auch sehr eng für ein Schrank, aber in der Wand kann man sehen 2 Löcher mit Dübeln für die Schrauben- da war mal warscheinlich etwas an der Wand befestigt-vermutlich Kleiderhaken, oder Garderobe. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz keine Englischkenntnisse könnten wir uns mit dem Personal verständigen. Was uns etwas gestört hat- das der Fußboden an manchen ...

„Elaine over provided a wonderful breakfast and was helpful with giving us info on the area. When a canal ride was oversold she personally drove there to attain tickets. Property was beautiful and presents pastoral England as we pictured it. I highly recommend this property“

„Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. „We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our large room had a comfy 4 poster bed, table, chairs in the bay window. Bathroom had large fluffy towels, lots of hot water. The views from both windows overlooked the well manicured grounds with benches, fabulous flowers in baskets and trees Breakfast was tasty with vegetarian options. The Eggs royale was excellent. Inn was clean, tastefully decorated with friendly efficient staff. “

„Lovely stay but made amazing by the Chefs. If you have the opportunity to visit be sure to have one of their specialty burgers - Salt & Pepper Chicken Burger or the Lamb Feta Burger. Both amazing and on my top 10 of best evers. “

"This Hilton has rooms which are clean and quiet, beds are good but no option to ventilate the room. The restaurant facilities can’t be worse: at opening time of the restaurant we ordered food and 10 minutes later you are told to order something else because they ran out of it. As we had chosen something else, the response was: “Is THAT all, you want nothing else?” In a very arrogant way. Then they even expect a tip afterwards. During Checkout, the receptionists were unable to produce an invoice. I wanted to know how much and for what I would be charged. This was the wrong question as the receptionist in jogging-trousers became very unfriendly. This is not what I’m used to experience in a Hilton Hotel!"
